  “I had a very disappointing experience with Jasmin Dominican Hair Salon. Before making my appointment, I called and spoke with Jasmin, the owner, to ask how much the style I wanted would cost. She quoted me one price, and I told her I wasn’t going to do it because it was more than I wanted to spend. A few minutes later, she called me back and told me the service would actually be less than what she originally quoted. Based on that new price, I agreed to come in. After my hair was finished, I walked up to pay and was suddenly charged a higher price than what I had been quoted over the phone. At no point before or during the appointment did Jasmin or my stylist tell me the price had changed. If they had been upfront, I could have decided whether I still wanted the service before it was done. My biggest issue isn’t just the price, it’s the lack of transparency. I specifically called ahead to avoid this exact situation, and I feel like I was misled into coming to the salon. Good customer service includes honest communication about pricing, and unfortunately that did not happen here. I hope the salon improves its transparency so future customers know exactly what they’ll be paying before their service begins.”

  “Love it here, I came when they were about to close… A quick fix with a trim and a blow out within an hour!!! they did awesome. I suggest Bringing your own products when styling and let them know up front what you are trying to get done… thank you again I will be back”

  “This salon is wonderful! Ask for Margarita! The owner and all of the stylists are so nice. I have been here twice and Margarita did an excellent job on my hair color, highlight, roller set & Blow ! I showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair color and it turned out better than the picture! She took her time with the whole process! She is all about about healthy hair care and provided a great service! She is now my new stylist! Thank you so much.. love my hair!”
