  “I went to here last week for a treatment, blow out and trim. Annette exceeded my expectations and I love the atmosphere of the shop. I had been dealing with shedding and dryness with my natural 4c hair and she gave me some recommendations of products to use. Here it is a week later and my blow out still looks good. Highly recommend!”

  “This was my first experience at a Black-owned salon, and I can honestly say it was amazing from start to finish! From the moment I sat in the chair, we talked about my hair regimen, and what my hair specifically needed. The wash alone was worth the visit! The scalp scrub was incredible! The attention to detail throughout the entire appointment was something I've never experienced before. What impressed me the most was how gently my stylist detangled my hair. I never felt rushed, and she truly cared for my hair every step of the way. The hospitality was unmatched, and I genuinely felt like family. I booked last minute, received beautiful curls, and was in and out much quicker than I expected without the quality of service being compromised. You can tell they truly care, are honest, and have a real passion for healthy hair. The pictures I'm posting were after a night out (and yes, I definitely sweated a little 😂), and my hair still looked this good and soooo soft!! I absolutely loved my experience and will definitely be booking again. If you're looking for a salon that genuinely cares about your hair, please book with Essential Design Beauty Salon!   “10/10 Again! I came last week for a trim for myself and this time I brought my 6 y/o son. He got his hair washed, trimmed,& braided. Everyone was so professional, nice, & patient. Ms. India was so gentle braiding his hair. He said his hair “looks so good”! We have definitely found his new salon.”

  “Annette did an AMAZING job with my mom’s hair - as a first time client!! She is patient, takes the time to listen to your needs, and educates you on HEALTHY hair care. You can easily see that Annette is passionate about healthy hair. She does great work coloring, treating, and styling hair. We will definitely be back!”

  “I'm sooo glad I found Annette, she did a excellent job with my thick black natural hair. From the way my hair was detangled with care, treated with the best products and trimmed to a healthy place. I am left with bouncy lustrous hair that moves when I move, I am well please. If you want a hairdresser that care and do a great job, this is the place! She is also very kind and respectful which is a plus in these times.   “I will be making, Essential Design Hair Salon in Knightdale NC, my new salon! Annette is an amazing hair stylist with an awesome personality. She was able to pencil me in to her busy schedule last minute. The shop is super clean and the staff was very nice and professional! I like that she wasn’t too rough while washing and blow drying my hair because I am tender headed. I love the design of the braids Dominque did! I am a Travel CST, and I travel all over the country for my job. I’ve been to multiple salons and this is one of the best salons I have ever been too! I felt a warm welcome coming here. I highly recommend!!”
