  “There are dozens of similar stores, much closer to my home, than the Lee's in Oak Park... butt I'll continue to make the trip because I love the selections, prices, employees and how organized and clean the store is. The employees all know exactly where everything is located, their recommendations are spot on and, they have always been very patient with me while I change my mind 17 times about what color highlights I'm looking for.”

  “Overpriced and poor customer service. I wish that I could leave a zero star review after I had to put down the wigs that I really liked today. I always visit this beauty supply store and I always recommend this store to a lot of my clients in the area. However today will be the last time that I patronize this beauty supply store. I was visiting the wig department with my child as we told the wig lady on staff at the time that we both will like to try on wigs for fun. She told us to pick out our options and offer only one wig cap for the both of us. During the time that we decided to try on wigs she start helping other customers without offering us the rules to try on the wigs in the beginning. She rudely advise me that we could not share the same wig cap after she only offer one wig cap to use before helping other customers and never offer us any assistance while we already tired on the wigs. I do not mind following the guidelines in any beauty establishment that I visit however we felt very uncomfortable after she raised her voice in a rudely manner at me and still didn’t offer another cap or apologize for not even offering us the rules before once again she barely helped us to help more customers. I kindly told her that she will not talk to me in that manner and told my child that I will not be supporting and purchasing additional items after we just purchased braiding hair & styling supplies that are highly overpriced before this even happened. I put down the items as she try to tell me to put my phone down that I wasn't even using at the time when she try to embarrass me and my child. I gave her 4 quarters for the one wig cap because I didn’t want a altercation in front of my child to continue with this rude employee. I really wanted to return all of other my items since I never been through anything like this but my daughter was uncomfortable so I wanted to remove her from this store immediately. I never had any issues in this store beside the older lady with the thinning crown in the wig department today. I hope that she have a better day and learn how to PROPERLY INSTRUCT AND COMMUNICATE with her future patrons to avoid poor business practice especially with customers who continue to support them with their outrageous prices. The gentlemen and the young lady with the blue hair are always polite. I will highly recommend Hollywood Beauty Supply Store on Greenfield (wig lady is amazing and she will help you style your wig), Cherry Beauty Supply Store, Tanisha’s Beauty Supply Store, Lee Beauty Supply (Southfield Plaza), Lee Beauty Supply (11Mile), J Beauty, & Crown Jewel if you need a beauty supply store in this area.”

  “Today 8/11 I enter the store and I had my 11 year old with me. I enter the store getting on him for something he done earlier and I asked him to stand in the front of store while I went and get products. A little later my son came where I was fussing about the lady said she would call the police on him. I asked what he had done of course he said nothing. I asked the young lady why she would call the police trying to enquire what he did. Instead of her just saying mam your son did this or that. She started to say you don't have control over your son. It started a heated conversation. I feel if he did something wrong it should have been addressed differently not trying to tell me I don't control my son. She didn't know me. She didn't know that type of customer service is way out of line. I am not trying to say my child is a angel but a different approach should have been done.”

  “Hiking up prices for no reason but greed. Shampoo and conditioner 45 dollars. I will just order off line. EAT’E over priced. One week the bottle cost $11. I call today and each bottle is about $22. These beauty supply stores owned by koren take us for granted. I will order of line. No thank you.”

  “I just brought some supplies to do my hair. The clerk knowingly over charged me by 8.99. I noticed that every time I patronize this place they always want to put the receipt in the bag. Check your receipts ladies. I didn’t notice until I got home. My bill was $73 and it should have been $64.”

  “I had to stop here really quick before going home because I was in the area and I needed a few things. Let me say this place is vvvveeerrryyyyy EXPENSIVE!! Only because I didn't feel like going to my original beauty shop 🤷🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️. I will NEVER go here again. The prices are ridiculously high. Not too mention the lady behind the counter today wasn't too welcoming either 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾”

  “I bought a wig here and a wallet on sell for $6.50 the wallet started falling apart in less then 3 days showing signs of wear around the edges and they told me I could wear the wig without gluing the edges but you can't because the edges pull up showing your own hair line!!! $70.00 for the wig.”
