  “I typically don’t go to City Nails, but over the past few months I have been coming here more often because driving out to Providence has become a hassle, especially during the day with kids and traffic. To be fair, some of the nail techs do a good job on hands but it’s inconsistent. Not everyone provides the same level of quality. However, when it comes to pedicures, I would not recommend this place at all. I was charged $50 for a service that did not match the price. There were no hot towels, no real spa experience, and overall it felt very basic. On top of that, when I asked for a correction, there was pushback instead of simply fixing it, which is frustrating as a paying customer. We know our own bodies and should feel comfortable speaking up without being dismissed. Another major concern is the cleanliness and smell of the salon. Every time I’ve come in, there has been a strong odor that honestly smells like a sewer. For a business that is charging these prices and bringing in consistent clients, the environment should reflect better sanitation and care. Overall, you’re paying premium prices without receiving a premium experience. I hope improvements are made, because right now the service does not justify the cost.”

  “You ask for one thing, and they do another. The nails turned out ugly—too short and poorly painted. To top it all off, the technician took over two hours, and the nails ended up looking horrible: badly done and badly painted.”

  “helen and diane are my hero’s! me and my friend come here and they always do a great job! it’s affordable, long lasting and clean. the staff are very kind and gentle as well. we both got a pedicure and an acrylic fill and it took 1hr and a half. very time efficient, overall 5 stars. will come back even though we live far.”

  “If there was a minus star, I would give it to them. These people answer back to the customers, it’s not what the customer asked for. On the other hand, they are very expensive. They only did a refill and the sparkle, there is no color it’s only transparent and the sparkling thing on top. They charge me $65. No pedicure.”

  “Goty nails done twice there in the last month or so. I definitely like how they came out. After I got them filled both pinky nails came off within a week though. I could feel the weakness of certain nails and I feel they did rush just to get it done fast.”
