Customer Review Summary

Diners consistently single out the Crispy Short Rib Hummus as the dish that anchors repeat visits, with the muhammara and whipped feta close behind as equally praised staples. The crème brûlée pie draws repeated praise as a standout finish, and brunch reviewers highlight the chocolate babka French toast and Shawarma-spiced skirt steak and eggs. Small plates and dips lead the experience, and several diners note the hummus and pita taste freshly made. Cocktails and mocktails come up as refreshing and inventive, and a sommelier is mentioned as a helpful presence for navigating the wine list. On the trade-off side, a few reviewers report that popular times bring a wait and slower service, and one notes the music can run loud enough to hinder conversation. A handful of plates draw mixed reactions: one reviewer found the falafels over-fried and dry, and another felt the shawarma steak and frites were unremarkable. Several suggest booking ahead, especially on weekends, and one adds that checking availability on Google before arriving helps avoid hassle.

Incredible food, amazing vibes, and the staff were absolutely wonderful! We had the Crispy Short Rib Hummus and the Shawarma-Spiced Skirt Steak Frites—both were packed with flavor. The grilled chicken was also delicious, and the cocktails are top-tier. Do not leave without getting the Whole Crème brûlée pie it’s spectacular. 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic Mediterranean restaurant! We finally visited Aba in our Chicago trip! The smoky garlic was absolutely delicious! The green falafel was crunchy yet perfectly moist inside! The grilled cauliflower kebab with rice was awesome as …

First time dinning here, came in for lunch on a Saturday. We had the crispy short rib hummus and charred eggplant to start which were both phenomenal. We split the chicken kefta kebab with the Greek village salad which was light and flavorful. We planning on hopping around places in the area and didn’t want to have anything too heavy. All of the drinks we had were very refreshing with lots of unique flavors. We finished off with the creme brulee pie which matched rest of our experience at Aba, unbelievable! Our server Colleen and the GM Zach were both were hospitable and attentive. We will definitely be coming back for dinner next time to order more food items.

Some of the food was great. Our waiter suggested to order around 5-6 plates for two, but I think it was too much food for us. We order the Hummus short rib, the Muhammara, the Chicken thighs , the Shawarma steak frites, and the Falafels. The muhammara, the hummus, as well and the crispy chicken thighs were delicious! But the falafels were over-fry and super dry, and the shawarma steak and frites were ok nothing out of the ordinary. We were celebrating my bday and they brought me a surprise sorbet dessert- which I thought was a very sweet of them! Since we had so much food we didn’t have room for an actual dessert from the menu. The drinks were good as well as their service! I will definitely go back and try their brunch next time.

The frozen sea salt and olive oil frozen yogurt was refreshing and made me crave more. The mocktail I got was banging! The environment was spot on and the bathrooms were perfectly clean. I would recommend this spot. Just make a reservation before going on google so you don't gotta deal with any nonsense!
