Customer Review Summary
Reviewers consistently single out the beautiful interior and decor as the defining draw, describing the space as gorgeous, vintage-style, and Old World, with mirrors and thoughtful theming that make it aesthetically pleasing. Coffee and tea orders arrive in glassware, and the hot chocolate earns notice for its creamy texture with a hint of salt. Breakfast sandwiches come out fast, and the drip coffee is called fresh and good. Close behind, the staff are repeatedly described as friendly, kind, and prompt, with one review noting they handled a spilled smoothie with helpfulness. A recurring trade-off is the limited menu, which one reviewer found disappointing, and the small space means finding a table can be tricky on weekends, with no host to seat guests and orders placed at the counter. Several suggest visiting with patience or at off-peak times to secure seating.

“Beautiful cafe at a good location. I ordered coffee for dine in which arrived in glassware which added a nice touch. We visited around noon on a Saturday and although it was packed we were still able to find seating. Overall good coffee and pretty interior.”

“Heard great things about this vintage-style café and finally decided to check it out(Dearborn location) Finding a spot on weekends can be a bit tricky, but with a little patience, you’ll manage to get a table. …”

“We took the Red Line from Chinatown, and it was a short 2 min walk from the nearest stop to the cafe. We arrived close to 10:30am on a Friday, and was lucky enough to snag a table. There was mostly high tops and a couch that was still unoccupied. It was beautiful inside. I loved the whole vibe and layout of the cafe. I loved all the mirrors placed around the cafe. I ordered a vanilla matcha earl grey tea. The breakfast sandwich was simple, nothing too special. Fresh drip coffee was fresh and good. We stayed close to an hour. The cafe had plenty of foot traffic.”

“Got a hot chocolate. It was good; it had a bit of salt to counter the sweetness it seemed. Could have been more chocolately to suit my tastes, but it was very creamy. I could see some people really loving it. I liked it but didn't love it. The interior is so gorgeous. I love the themeing. The staff are kind and prompt as well as helpful.”

“This is such a beautiful coffee shop! I’ve been wanting to get over here for so long, but I’m glad my first visit was during the holidays. The decorations are beautiful and really lend to the ambiance. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even when my 3 year old granddaughter spilled some of her smoothie. Plus, they have decaf espresso beans! (Which not every independent shop has.) I’ll definitely be back.”
