It feels like a time capsule; servers in 40s uniform, sawdust on the floor, a row of old phone boxes, classic wooden booths, and a fantastic menu from the period.   “Great place to eat because it’s a historic spot. If you haven’t had it try it so you have your own decision if it’s good or not. I got to say I love all the LA times and pictures of the city that I love Los Angeles! A lot of memorabilia with the Dodgers I enjoyed seeing the bobble heads. I don’t know about yall but the coleslaw was awful I almost threw up . I told the manager and they switched it to the potato salad . Now that was a hit! I was able to see old telephone booths and take a picture with my beautiful husband ! Definitely feels creepy . Saw homeless going in the restroom but I get it they can’t control that especially being so close to the Union Station. Very clean place thought you are constantly seeing them pick up tables and sweeping ! Thank you staff glad I went to it for the very first time but it will definitely be my last because the food wasn’t good . Either that or I’m pregnant and my taste buds have changed .”

  “I went late at night so there was not many people there. It was a good sandwhich but not best french dip i ever had. Thats only thin i oredered but i like the vibe and friendly staff. I could have used a bit more flavor on the beef but ill be back to try iut other items. Ole school diner feel and im sure it gets crowded during the day.”

  “This is not insignificant so let's start with the free parking directly across from the establishment... Yeah 👍 When I was there I observed 4 extremely courteous food specialist making sure your order was exactly what you came for. Another very significant observation, the table attendants were immediately present to clear the tables and keep patrons with available seating. Now the food. As I age, I've noticed myself gravitating towards high quality foods with balanced portions sizes. I absolutely love the portion sizes because I no longer need to feel incapacitated after a meal. I'd rather have quality prepared meals with considerate portions that leave me feeling kenetic as opposed to unavailable. I ordered the NY pastrami. It was superb. I like my pastrami well seasoned, tender and sliced just right. The flavor was perfect and and the the bread fresh. I had a long drive ahead of me and I left feeling extremely satisfied and energized. 10 out of 10 for me.”
