Customer Review Summary
Most reviewers return for the food as a whole, with long-time regulars calling it their go-to Chinese takeaway and one saying they are working their way through the menu, with the King Chef Dragon singled out as delicious. Close behind are the chicken curry, described as pretty decent, and a menu with plenty to choose from, from soup to battered bananas. Reviewers also describe a family-run shop that is clean, with friendly staff, courteous delivery drivers, piping hot food and good value, and one says the cooks will tweak dishes on request. The complaints centre on chicken. Two reviewers describe the chicken in their chicken fried rice as slimy and wet, one adds that the king prawn chow mein was as wet as the chips and that the prawn crackers were the tastiest part, and another found the salt and pepper chicken rubbery enough to stretch like a rubber band. One reviewer finds it expensive for what it is and no different from other local takeaways, though portions are a decent size. A longtime customer notes that the shop has been open for around 20 years.

“This is my go to Chinese takeaway, we were using it year's ago then stopped due to not ordering Chinese anymore. We have been using it since Nov 25 and by far we rate this. Really good food. Thank you.”

“very expensive for what you get. A very run-of the-mill Chinese. No better or worse than any other local Chinese take-aways. There all the same... Portions are a decent size however, and the chicken curry was pretty decent.”

“Salt and pepper chicken was literally rubbery it didn't come apart when I chewed it I tried to pull it apart with my hands and it stretched essentially like a rubber band £37 pound for my meals and it was awful I really don't complain. Or leave reviews but I couldn't carry on without making people aware of how awful my food was my family will never eat from here again please consider my review before ordering from here. Thank you and no thank you.”
