Customer Review Summary

Aloo parantha is the most-named dish, served with pickle and homemade yoghurt and called delicious by reviewers. Close behind are the chana bhature, pani puri and dosa, with a chaat samosa, lamb curry, and a spicy, creamy chicken tikka in a buttery roti also named. Drinkers single out the masala chai and a cardamom and ginger tea, and one praises the lime pickle. Most describe authentic, freshly made food from traditional recipes, a friendly owner and welcoming staff, and several say vegetarians and vegans are well catered for. A few note that food is cooked on demand, so there is a wait, which they consider worth it. Two reviewers were disappointed. One found vegetable samosas cold inside and mushy. Another described a limited menu with little for children, a broken high chair, and noodles that seemed to be packet noodles with boiled frozen vegetables after a long wait. Several regulars say they stop in whenever they are in Wolverhampton, often for the aloo parantha with its pickle and yoghurt.

“I went into the cafe to get a snack to eat. After looking at the menu I decided to get 2 vegetable samosas. After leaving the shop with my 2 samosas, I took a bite into the samosas and although it was warm on the outside the inside of the samosa was cold as if it had not been defrosted properly. I was very dissapointed and then was even more dissapointed by the mushy texture of the samosa and binned the second one rather then eating it. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone”

“I spotted this gorgeous place on my morning commute and promised I'd go in after work. What a great find! The owner was so lovely and friendly. I ordered the Aloo Parantha which comes with pickle and yoghurt, and it was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be coming back to try more of their menu. Thank you for the warm welcome and sensational food.”

“Loving stopping off here each time I’m in Wolverhampton for work. The food is freshly made to traditional recipes and beautifully flavoured. The owner is warm and friendly and the service is prompt. Pani puri and the dosa are real stand out menu items for me and the masala chai is also a winner. Cant wait for the next visit”

What a great decision! Delicious food, lovely friendly staff and excellent. What a gem of a find - will definitely be back!”
