  “Amazing breakfast with good quality ingredients and value for money, The also do many other “healthier” Options such as salads, omelettes, jacket potatoes, toasties etc. Staff are always cheery, polite and nothing is too much trouble for them. The tables are all well spaced out and despite the fact that it has always been very busy whenever we go the dining area and tables are kept clean by staff that don’t seem to stop. My only slight complaint is that they don’t allow you to change items on the breakfast, I.e. you can ask for no bacon but charge extra for a cheaper alternative such an extra slice of toast. ( maybe you could consider this ? ) Plenty of car parking outside and on the street, also the large Sainsbury’s car parking outside opposite ( 2 hour limit ).”

  “Waited 45 minutes for food cared more about delveries and pre ordered. People came after us and was served first when asked one member of staff was rude and abrupt. Maybe busy but no need for rudeness Very dissappointed with food can tell it was rushed”

  “Just been here for breakfast and it was horrible! The grill needs to be cleaned the bacon was over cooked and full of black burnt on old grease. Mushrooms was nasty. Shame as we usually like the breakfast here!”

  “Had a lovely breakfast but regretted having the large. I have a healthy appetite but even that was too much for me. Quick service freshly cooked food with plenty of seating and a small car park outside. Would definitely return.”

  “I visited this cafe yesterday with my family, the staff were polite, and food was served quickly. I order my food and drinks and was given two glasses to drink our drinks from, we poured our drinks and when we went to drink them it smelt like wet dog, now I can appreciate that the pot wash or someone had not done their job properly, so I just said to the young lad my glass smells, I did not make a fuss or was not asking for my money back, just wanted him to acknowledge the smell, to which he replied it’s the orange juice, it clearly wasn’t cause I was drinking the orange juice out the bottle. I was then put off my food, as it made me question the hygiene of the place, if he could really not smell the strong smell of dog coming from the glass, what was he serving my breakfast on. I must add, I couldn’t smell wet dog when the food came but it just put me off. It is the first place I have eaten where no one came over to ask how my food was, is this because they don’t want to know unless it’s good feed back ! Which it would of been as the children enjoyed their food.”

  “Well Lane Cafe had plenty of parking and seating. The tables and chairs were clean and well spaced. It was busy and service was prompt and cheerful. I stopped off for brunch and the food was delicious and hot. There were some good alternatives to breakfast items such as jacket potatoes and puddings too which sounded very good like salted caramel sticky toffee pudding 😍 A good mix of clientele from teens to pensioners and everyone seemed to be enjoying their food and drinks. I definitely recommend a visit.”
