  “Food is beautiful but not enough for me to keep ordering here. The young girl behind the counter never says hello or talks to you & three times the delivery driver Helen has been very rude to us on three occasions now. My husband took a little longer to get to the door and she shouted at him saying she was waiting. Will never order here again she’s not very nice.”

  “First time ordering this evening and the last....misrable staff...and the food the worst ive ever had...sauce was thin and waterery...bbq spare ribs microwaved and was like rubber...chips were frozen chips those standard cheap ones that are square in shape...prawn toast burnt...honestly dont go off the reviews they must live off beans and toast....disgusting chinese takeaway!”

  “The food was absolutely amazing. Its the first time I've had food from here, I usually go to another Chinese takeaway, but I'm so glad I tried this place tonight. I had chilli, salt and pepper chicken starter, and beef with peppers and black bean sauce with egg friend rice as main course. Very fresh, super tasty. Thank you!”

  “I tried the Golden Chef for the first time this week for a group of 4 and were very impressed by everything. The lady taking our order was friendly and answered all our questions. The food came really hot, great portions and all meals were the best we have had in a long time. I recommended to family and two more orders placed were excellent too. We are having a gathering for new year and will be putting a large order in as we are confident the food will be great!! Thank you for working hard and producing great food”

  “‼️‼️‼️AVOID NEW GOLDEN CHEF AT ALL COSTS IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE. ‼️‼️‼️ I ordered from this vile place a few days before Christmas, expecting a decent meal to enjoy during the festive season. Instead, I was served what can only be described as a nightmare in a container. From the very first bite, I noticed something was off, but I couldn’t quite place it. After just a few bites, a horrific smell began to emanate from the food—so rancid and overpowering that I had no choice but to bin the rest immediately. Even now, thinking about it makes my stomach turn. Unfortunately, the damage was already done. Within hours, I was violently ill—unable to stop vomiting and constantly running to the toilet (in more ways than one, shall I say). I became so severely dehydrated that after two days of not being able to even keep water down, I spent hours hooked up to an IV drip, all because of this meal. This experience ruined what should have been a happy and festive time of year. I’ve had my share of bad takeaways in the past, but nothing compares to this. It’s shocking that a place serving food of this quality is still in business. I would VERY strongly advise anyone to avoid this establishment at all costs. If you value your health (and your Christmas), do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.”
