  “Just moved to the area, had the menu posted through the door so thought we'd give it a go. Me and my wife shared the larger of the two Salt and Pepper boxes and we were not dissapointed, for £18 it was good value for money too, the box was bursting with food and weighed more than a small child!!!! Probably the best Salt and Pepper box i've ever had if i'm honest. The homemade sweet chilli sauce was excellent by the way.”

  “We recently moved to the area and got a menu through the letter box and thought we would try it out. The food was so good the spice box especially. It is cash only but they counted all my coins no complaints which I know is annoying for them. Even got some free spring rolls 10/10 will be back x”

  “Me and partner both ordered shredded "crispy" beef , chicken in "wine" sauce, noodles , and prawn toast. I'm not too sure what the beef was , but it was definitely not crispy. Long pieces of battered beef , swimming around in watery tasteless mush. Usually, shredded crispy beef consists of CRISPY beef which is stuck together by sticky sauce . This was , at best .... mush. Chicken in "wine" sauce was basically boiled chicken and anaemic veg coexisting in dish water, flavored with chilli flakes to give it some kind of life. Noddles where quite possibly the only redeeming dish . Although, you couldn't possibly go wrong with noodles . Prawn toast , again , was slightly ok . But , like the shredded watery beef , they did feel soggy , which isn't acceptable for TOAST. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE OPEN A DECENT CHINNESE / CANTONESE/THAI RESTAURANT IN WINSFORD.”

  “Used to be an amazing place to eat! Salt and pepper chips were elite. But last 3-4 times, meat has been slimy, chips flavourless, so we just dont eat from there any more. Such a shame the food went downhill”

  “Not sure if it has changed hands again as it has gone down hill drastically since my last visit a few months ago, the menu has changed and ingredients of the dishes that stayed are now different, there are now also Japanese dishes on the menu..... Any way on to our recent experience and food quality, our original choices had been removed from the menu that we picked up on our last visit so we had to choose something similar from the new menu.... The Special szechuan, was by far the worst thing I've ever tasted, the sauce was like dish water in tast and in thickness, the vegetables were all soft and soggy.... And the meat was boiled and sloppy...... The special sweet and sour tasted ok but again soggy vegetables and slightly soggy batter unfortunately the balls are now served in the sauce rather than a separate pot as before. Egg fried rice was ok though tbf We had an Hot & Sour soup, which in the past was one of the best I've ever had but now it is pretty tasteless and also made with different ingredients which in itself would not be a huge issue but despite it smelling quite vinegary at first it was not really hot or sour”

  “Atmosphere score is based on how the staff were behind the counter as this is a take away. They were very efficient on an incredibly busy day, juggling the phone, visiting customers etc with commendable efficiency. Commendable service. Food was excellent and everyone enjoyed their portions with it being hot and freshly made.”

  “Worse chippy I've been to! Ordered salt and pepper combination.. The chicken and beef just had the same texture and taste as pork scratchings.. The chicken wings wasn't that nice as well. Total waste of 8 quid! The salt and pepper chips where 4 quid and didn't have much taste to them plus 80% of the chips where all hard and dark brown cause they had been cooked that many times the filling had dryed out!... Also got normal chips to. Again most were warm ups.. Nothing I had was fresh, total rip off”

  “Food was absolutely garbage. Spent nearly £40 and half of it got binned. You could tell most meals were pre prepared and just heated up. The meat was really poor quality. Food mainly tasted either too salty or too sweet. Came here after reading some good reviews but don’t be fooled by them”

  “After moving to Cheshire we've struggled to find a good Chinese, so glad we found this place, finally a good one! The chow mein was lovely as was the rice, the sweet and sour was good and the curry is a proper one, finally a Chinese takeaway that does proper Chinese curry and not chip shop curry, it all tasted lovely and fresh as well! Checked the hygiene rating prior to ordering, some places have a really low one, and this has a 5 so obviously clean also. They where really friendly and polite when rang through the order and delivery was actually earlier than they said. Will definitely be back and can't wait to try other dishes!”
