About Feast At The Mills
Feast At The Mills is an independent street food restaurant at Cotton Works in Wigan, set in a group of old industrial buildings. Four food traders operate on site, including Dough So Good for pizza and Burger and Bird, and three bars sit alongside a barista coffee and cake cafe. Guests order at the stall they choose and carry a buzzer that signals when the freshly cooked food is ready to collect there. Live music plays on site, and the events lineup includes kids' movie showings, bottomless brunches, tribute acts and themed kids activities. A new roof now covers the main areas, and extra heaters have been added for colder weather. Dogs are welcome. ID is checked at the entrance to the food area, and under-18s are turned away there.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the pizza, called "on point" and delicious, alongside a burger one describes as out of this world. Cocktails at the fast-moving bar, live music and the rustic, old industrial setting with heaters and blankets also draw praise, and several mention that food is cooked fresh and collected with a buzzer. Dogs and kids are welcome, though one notes there is little for children to do. The complaints are about food service and cost. One reviewer describes a second visit where Dough So Good's buzzers failed, orders got mixed up and serving stopped, while Burger and Bird ran out of buzzers, after an earlier very long wait. Another found the BBQ stall too expensive, with only the chicken thigh enjoyable, and a few call the place pricey. One pair of teenagers aged 15 to 16 were turned away from the food area without ID. Parking can mean driving around, and the cats wandering the venue were a highlight for one visitor.

“Great place to eat. Service was excellent, but pricey. But, great cowboy on the entertainment. Top night.”

“The pizza and chicken place are very good. Fresh food. The bbq place was a massive let down unfortunately:( too expensive and the BBQ chicken thigh was the only part I actually enjoyed. There are cats walking around the venue which was probably the highlight for me and the security staff were lovely. Be prepared to drive around for parking.”

“Overall a lovely place but if youre just here for food or even just to have a diet coke you need id or they wont let you in, I went for a day out with my bestfriends for some food on a sunny day and we tried to go into the food area but we were stopped for id because we arent 18 (were 15-16). i asked if we needed it just for some food and they turned us away. It is a lovely place to spend your evening i just think there should be some more accessability. Not all teenagers are bad.”

“We have been meaning to visit here for ages and never got round to it. Went at the weekend and it is fantastic. Very rustic but comfy feel to the place. A good vibe going on throughout. The drinks were good and the Burger was out of this world, and the pizza was on point. Reasonably priced to be fair. Can't wait for the warmer weather. I would highly recommend a visit 👍👌”
