  “I popped in the other day and the food was immaculate and the young girl who served me was so lovely and helpful I think her name was Rosie! I would 100% recommend going to anyone the staff and atmosphere is so lovely especially for a nice summery day!”

  “Food was ok. Didn’t feel as though made fresh. Service was slow and erroneous. Side order not delivered, one of starters miss ordered. Food overpriced for what we got: flat bread was burnt and had to be sent back. Chicken pasta was dry. Looked like it had been under a hot grill for a while, dry.”

  “By chance Dish was located within walking distance of where we were staying. We checked out the menu whilst walking past with friends. We entered Dish bar and restaurant on a busy Sunday evening the atmosphere was both warm and inviting. Despite not having a booking, owner Emma said a few minutes at the bar would allow her to clear and clean the table of a group of guests who has just left. Whilst waiting we had lovely interactions with the staff, which set the tone for our experience and were taken to our table quickly. The menu was extensive including a set 2 or 3 course menu. Our party of four opted for à la carte selections of chicken piri piri, veggie kebab, salmon and chicken snitzel. We also ordered some sides The veggie kebab was a great selection of chunky vegetables with halloumi showing the restaurant had no trouble catering to vegetarian or meat eaters. On arrival, the meals were all inviting and substantial. For an unplanned dinner, Dish and its staff provided a warm and friendly welcome in what was both a cold and busy evening. Thanks to Emma and the team for a lovely evening.”

  “First visit, excellent food, it was warm and well presented, the staff were smart, friendly and very attentive. Even though it was quiet (late afternoon) we found it pleasant and very relaxing. The decor was immaculate and we definitely be back, strongly recommend.”

  “Nice place to visit for a selection of pizza pasta plated steaks and chicken dishes good value on Sundays when they do a 2 course for £24 or 3 courses for £30 good choices on the menu to choose from the place is small and well presented it was quiet cold as we were near the door so best to sit on the right wall to protect from this as the door was open a lot of the time but we had a lovely meal and would recommend a visit best to reserve a table as it does get busy. Staff are helpful and friendly and the food we had was cooked and presented beautifully.”

  “Lovely place, took my daughter for her birthday, she’s pescatarian and there was a good choice for her. We had the roast beef Sunday lunch which was really well cooked and pink as we like it. My daughter had the herb crusted cod which looked lovely, she cleared her plate. Wine was of good quality, all in all a brilliant place for a special occasion. Portions are very big and I couldn’t finish mine regretfully as it was delicious.”
