  “I hate leaving a dissapointing review as businesses are struggling but tonight we ordered a take away and it was probably one of the worst I've ever had. Definitely not the standard I've come to associate with chutney blue. The chicken was hard and it was swamped in a red curry sauce with absolutely no taste other than cream.it was luke warm too. I feel very disapointed considering the amount of money we spent. Will go elsewhere in future.”

  “Dire! Almost £40 for birthday meal for 2. Restaurant prices, sadly not restaurant quality. Everything mild, no flavour whatsoever. Far too much food colouring! Arrived 15 mins late, starters that should have been crispy, now soggy. Mains devoid of any heat or flavour. First and last time of ordering.”

  “Ordered three times now and every time the food has been 10/10. The chicken tikka starter is amazing (just wish it was a bit bigger!). Always give extra popadoms and delivery is always quick too (delivery lady that delivers is amazing).”

  “I've been trying for years to find the perfect curry. Not too hot but spicy not bland, so I decided on Chicken Tikka Karahi. I must say this was absolutely amazing this is definitely my favourite curry at last I've found it !!! Can't believe it's in delivery range too !!! Absolutely gorgeous and top quality food hygiene standards will definitely definitely be eating from this establishment again”

  “Meal looked lovely when arrived but as we eat it there was no taste. It tasted like the cream and spices were left out. Very disappointing for new new years eve meal. And £36.00 down. Phoned restaurant to tell them and he said I was 3rd to complain. Wont be ordering again from here.”

  “Don’t even bother, go elsewhere. I have given these people the benefit of doubt too many times. My order has been wrong every time without fail and tonight’s mess up is the last straw. After spending £195 for a family meal they missed out various meals and rice etc. we showed them the order including the price that we had paid which coincided but they flat refused to give us our missing food. After 10 mins of arguing on the phone we had no choice but to go to the shop. They reluctantly replaced everything with exception to 1 meal!! We popped around to The Curry king instead. Chutney Blue need to realise that they have competition right on there doorstep….AND ITS CHEAPER. If you want to eat in a group please don’t rely on Chutney Blue to allow you to do this.”

  “Not as cosy as some other Indian restaurants, feels a bit like sitting in a takeaway since they've relocated. Having said that, the food was great and the staff were pleasant, friendly and attentive. Prices are very reasonable.”

  “We ordered a takeaway nice staff on the phone good communication . The said an hour and they where bang on. Food was disappointing , food was look warm and onion baji was soggy . It’s like it had been sitting there a long time before being delivered . I told the gentlemen on the phone they had been recommended by my friend. Sorry will not be using them again , maybe we just caught them on a bad day , as the reviews where good , but not for us we threw more away than we ate.”
