  “I picked up an order for collection as I had never been to Hot Bite before but I got my usual pizza I get from everywhere: bolognaise with a garlic dip. The pizza was cooked fresh, hot and full of flavour. It had some nice onion but not overpowering, the sauce was plentiful but not too over done and the base was nice. I am giving it a 4* as it’s a first time I’ve ordered from here and I wish they served larger garlic dips but at £1 each it’s not badly priced and a collected pizza 12 inch was £7.50 which is a bargain.”

  “Shit cold less on there no wonder people are ditching this place took hour half to deliver pizza was barely warm use to be the best place but lost it's pzazz .even thou it's Xmas eve and busy I love the chilli sauce from there but learnt to make my own chilli sauce from now on. Hardly any meat on there one piece on one slice 🍕 nah use to be nice . I'll have to try somewhere else now”

  “Was once the place to go for good food. Not anymore as I was 😮 with my last order. the🍕 I've seen more 🍖 on a butchers ✏️. And came cold to the door. And there kebab meat is poor quality now. Will not be going back”

  “5 stars alone for the kebab meat. You just don't get it like this anymore. Thick cut and lamb. So many places would rather cheap out but hot bite never disappoint”

  “This place used to be one of the best for pizza's until recently. I bought a 14 inch quindinci which was one of the thinnest pizza's i have ever seen. Four of the eight slices didn't have any pepperoni on and the other four only had one slice of pepperoni. I will be getting my pizza's from elsewhere from now on.”

  “Ordered tonight and it was absolutely crap, to be honest I felt a bit sick after eating half of a 10" pizza and half a portion of chips - usually a big eater. I've thrown the rest away. Order was wrong as I got Tuna and Sweetcorn on the pizza instead of Neptune (Tuna and Onion) - I hate sweetcorn so that's probably why I felt sick - I chose not to complain as the pizza didn't look bad in spite of that (a bit pasty but not bad as such). About half of the chips were overdone to the point I could taste the burnt on them, they didn't look bad which is why I think it could be old oil being used. A few of them were nice and crispy but few and far between. Don't rate the garlic dip but the portion of it is about right so no real issues there. Likewise with delivery there was no mistakes or issues there. I will give some credit that nothing I had was overly greasy like some other places I've tried but most stuff needs improving.”

  “Was up washington over the weekend to see family, we stayed in a hotel in Washington. I found this place as I was driving around.. Jeez it's changed in the last 4 years. I got a mixed donna wrap and a burger.. Couldn't fault it.. It was as thick as my forearm 😳. Then on the Sunday I got a kebab wrap and a 12 inch veg pizza.. Both were really nice. When I'm back up again I will definitely be at hot bites again. The guys were really nice to chat to. You need to open a shop in Northampton 👍👍”

  “Coming here for food is like gambling; although the odds aren’t really in your favour and the prize isn’t that impressive. I will only order pizzas from here anything else is just average and even then the pizza’s are hit and miss. Last pizza I had was good and generally is; kebab tonight was awful, really greasy and the chips were over cooked. Staff can be rude, especially if you make a complaint but it’s only happened to me once.”

  “Ordered a chicken kebab wrap from Hot-bite last night somewhere I’ve been using for years and never had a problem with until now. I have none stop being sick today with awful stomach pains when I called the shop to tell them how I had been feeling from the food the lady who answered advised the sickness could be off something I ate a few days ago and they haven’t receive any other complaints. My friend who I live with has ate exactly the same food as me for days apart from last night when I ordered the wrap. I have also been advised by a couple of people who replied to my post on social media about the matter that they also felt I’ll from there chicken/mixed kebabs from here. Like I said at the start I have never had a problem with the place up until now.”

  “This used to be the best pizza and kebab place in Washington, but, it has seriously gone down hill over the past 6-12 months. The pizza is soggy and tasteless, the kebab is chewy and the chips are usually undercooked. Over the past year or so I've ordered 3 times and every time something has either been missing from the order, wrong items or just plain awful! Will not be going back!”
