  “Waited 2 hours for delivery, rang after 1 hour just to be told they were busy. On a random Wednesday? I have never had to wait that long for food delivery not even on bank holidays/ Christmas Eve. Absolute joke”

  “First and last time ordering from here. Having gone to the same pizza place for 15 years, we decided on a change and had Bellissimo recommended to us. We ordered over the phone and I'd already worked the price out from their menu and website, and had taken the 15% off that was advertised, however, the price was higher than I'd expected, but I didn't question it, as the menu states the 15% only applies to certain items. When my order arrived, I saw that I'd been charged £8 for a 10" cheese garlic bread and paid £6.80 after the 15% was deducted. I called up and they said prices were going up and they were updating menus, but the app price for a 10" cheese garlic bread is £4.80 and the online menu is £4.70. I can't understand how anyone can charge £8 for a 10" cheese garlic bread, that didn't have a lot of cheese or garlic on and was paper thin, so definitely not worth the price I paid. The pizza was OK, but the chicken was very chewy and rubbery and again the pizza base was paper thin. The cheesy chips were nice, with a lot of cheese and delivery was quick, but the prices are too high for what it is. I ordered the same at my previous pizza shop and got it for £5 cheaper, with a free pizza because I'd spent over £20, think I'll be staying where I know from now on.”

  “We ordered here on Friday night and it was unreal!!! We ordered a large order and not one thing was missing, it also arrived hot. Everyone enjoyed it. Garlic is the best!!!”

  “Been using bellissimo for a lot of years now over 10 years or so. Could never fault the food before but I'm afraid that standard have gradually been slipping and has got to the point now that we won't be returning, We ordered mixed kebab with salad, bolognese pizza, chilli and garlic dips. All pieces of chicken were covered in peri peri sauce which had also changed and was more like sweet chilli, also was covered in grease and couldn't eat it, 2 pieces of chicken looked like they had been chewed up and spat out, chilli sauce had a strange taste, and the so called chips omg, looked like they had been scraped up off the floor, all burnt ends and the potato inside green, totally disgusting and a wast of £30, Shame you can't upload pictures on here. Sorry bellissimo but you have lost a valuable customer.”

  “5* takeaway, beat pizza base in Sunderland, for a few weeks the kebab went downhill but I think they’re back to old supplier now as it’s on the up! Big Kahuna is great value for money and the quality and quantity doesn’t lack because it’s a meal deal.”

  “Never again. Ordered over phone by card and rang 3 times in 2 hours because still didn’t arrived, and was told it’s on it way! after they checked my address each time I rang. Then to be told card hadn’t gone through, so waited 2 hours for nothing. So they told me to re order and they would push my order to the front for delivery. Yes they did and it was very nice of them, but when it arrived, which it did in 10 mins. It was the worst pizza I’ve ever seen, I ordered a vegetarian, and it was just cheese and a whole green pepper cut into large chunks that was just thrown on the pizza disgusting and wasn’t even cooked probably. Will never use that place again!”
