  “Will definitely be back, so nice to have plenty flexibility on a set menu deal. Sometimes I look at competitors extremely limited set menus (no choice of starter, no choice of main etc just told what it is) and so don't bother ordering at all in the end but since this is affordable and I can enjoy what I wanted I can enjoy a curry more regularly :)”

  “Our new go-to Indian takeaway for work, and now home. We live in Sunderland city centre and have loads to choose from, but travel here as its better than any in Sunderland at the minute. Genuine authentic Indian food and the best garlic nan bar none!”

  “Been ordering from curry hut ever since it opened and I have never ever had a bad meal . I love this place especially the chicken tikka garlic curry. The delivery driver tonight was polite professional and a asset to the company.”

  “Had a the worst chicken madras ever from here, a madras cymurry is my favourite and usually a safe go to this one was basically a spicy tomato soup with very little meat in, the rice was mediocre at best all the the nann bread was perfect smaller than am used to but very nice, over cooked frozen chips where a major let down and the chicken tikka wrap was a let down losts of tiny bits of chicken that was very dry my usual place you get large chunks of chicken tikka that's moist the quantity of meat was acceptable just but was either old warmed up or just over cooked, and the chilli sauce that came with it was ketchup with chilli flakes in a cheap and nasty hack rather that a real chillie sauce very disappointed and obviously will never use these again”

  “Pre ordered for delivery at 6 40 and the acknowledgement email came through at 5.30 for my order and all was well!!! 6 50 received email stating it now be 7.10 for delivery which wasn't too bad... 7.15 received email saying delivered enjoy and rate your food etc.... it hadn't even arrived! Phoned curry hut told to ignore email but it is out for delivery... 7.30 food arrived with the brown carrier bag wet through and sauce all over the outer white plastic carrier... meal was barely warm and not much chicken in the curry!! Bitterly disappointed as I've used curry hut for over 20 years.... felt like the service was poor and the meal was average at best not like it used to be... time for a change...”

  “Food is lovely, Sunday deal is very good value for money, the only reason. I didn't give 5 stars is it was an hour late last time and my starter missing... They did send it straight out and were lovely on the phone but it was nearly 1hr 30min by the time we ate”

  “Ordered via just eat. Order came 25 mins late. Onions bhajis were that hard you could t eat them. Curry had a sour taste and the chips had been reheated before being sent. £23 I could have spent else where. Will never order again.”

  “ordered via just eat. takeaway accepted order then rang me to say they didn't deliver to my area. asked why they accepted the order. bloke said the person who accepted didn't realise. he openly said it was my fault. its does not state they don't deliver to my area and it's gives you the option to order when I put my postcode in. appalling attitude. disgraceful service. I wouldn't take the chance of ordering and them taking your money. DISGUSTING”
