About Timmys Warrington

Timmys Warrington is a takeout restaurant on Kingsway N in Warrington, framed around burgers and fries. The kitchen centres on a short burger menu that features a Dorito chicken burger and a Nashville burger alongside the standard sides, with donut boxes sometimes added on. Orders run as walk-ins on the counter, and the operation leans on delivery, sending food out to surrounding streets; a few customers pick up in person. Delivery quotes commonly sit around 45 minutes, and waits stretch longer when the kitchen has the order ready but no driver is dispatched. A 1 litre Tango orange has gone out as a complimentary drink on at least one order.

Customer Review Summary

Burgers draw the most praise. One regular calls the Dorito chicken burger divine and says they avoid chicken burgers elsewhere, while another singles out the Nashville burger and fries. Several others simply describe the food as good and the people as nice, and one orders delivery weekly, donut boxes included. The complaints center on delivery and phone handling. Three reviewers describe orders arriving far later than quoted, one after Uber Eats had already refunded it, and another with food that was lukewarm and partly cold. Two say the person answering the phone was rude. One reports being put down on after calling back, and another says staff made insulting remarks in Punjabi about them after leaving the line unmuted, though a colleague then apologized. Against that, one reviewer whose six-burger delivery had a mistake says it was made right with an extra Nashville burger and a complimentary Tango orange drink.

“We had ordered home delivery with 6 burgers.. there was a slight mistake in one of the orders during delivery.. but they were so kind and generous to add an additional Nashville burger and had it home delivered while also handing over a complimentary 1 litre Tango orange drink as well..that’s amazing customer service .. “Mainly order for delivery but have collected a couple of times. Every time, food has been great, I tend to try something new as much a possible within the menu! The Dorito chicken burger is divine, I don't like ordering chicken burgers from anywhere but Timmy's is a good call! Never any issues, we live on the border of no delivery and we're very grateful, every week with our food (and donut boxes 👀) Thank you!”

“Ordered over 1 hr ago said it would be 45 mins phone up to find the food is there but no delivery driver, girl on phone put phone down on me so phone back and lady again was so rude and said food was on the way still waiting 10 mins later and I love 5 mins away god knows how long the food had been made and left on the side for!!”

“We ordered from here and faced an incredibly frustrating experience. Our food took over an hour and a half to arrive. Thirty minutes into the wait, we called to check on the order. The woman who answered was incredibly rude. She asked our name, didn’t understand then asked us again which was fine but then without telling us, she just left us on the phone which she forgot to mute, allowing us to hear her entire background conversation with another staff member in Punjabi about us. What she did not realize is that we speak Punjabi too. She eventually came back and promised a 15-minute wait, which we accepted. Another 15 minutes passed with no food, so we called back. She asked for the name again. When I offered to spell it out to help, she put the phone down unmuted a second time. We listened to her make very rude comments about us in Punjabi, complaining that she couldn't understand our name, along with other insulting remarks, bearing in mind we are speaking in English with clarity. She then handed the phone to a colleague, who at least had the decency to speak properly and apologize for what we had just overheard. When the food finally arrived after 90 minutes, some of the food was lukewarm and some of it was cold.”
