Tommy is such a great host making it a point to welcome all visitors and ensuring they have an authentic experience. The Taverna is a busy place and close to parking. Thoroughly recommended and I will continue to sing its praises.”

“Absolutely Fantastic. Booked for our wedding anniversary, food was to die for. Service was first class and even got the whole restaurant involved with the entertainment by handing out tambourine! Lived in Ware for years and only booked after we moved down the road. Highly recommended you will not regret it.”

“Appalling service at this establishment last night 20/09 called in at 6.30 only to be told the place was closed, on their website it says 8pm, boss man allowed us in but the waitress told us it had it had to be quick, we were still eating our starter when the main meal came out, i complained about this as its not a good look, i asked to speak the boss man but he had scarpered , leaving a young 16 year old and a extremely irate older waitress,, screaming that she has cctv, which we didnt need as we were so calmer than her. Never again”
