Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often single out the Char Siu Bao, called fluffy and juicy, with the egg fried rice, assorted vegetables rice and most of the dim sum also liked. The sweet and sour chicken drew a wish for juicier meat. Takeaway service is described as friendly and quick, with generous portions. One reviewer finds prices high, citing vegetable dishes and the Deliveroo menu, and says friends now order less often.

“A nice little restaurant on the High Street with a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The place is clean and nicely presented, and it felt like somewhere you could comfortably sit down for a meal as well as pick up a takeaway. We have ordered takeaway a couple of times and the service was always friendly. The lady who took my order was just lovely and very helpful. The food was prepared pretty quickly, so we didn't have to wait long. The prices are reasonable considering the portion sizes, and we felt we got a good amount of food for what we paid. Overall, we enjoyed the food. I like the sweet and sour chicken although I wish the chicken was a bit juicer. The egg fried rice and the assorted vegetables rice are really nice as well, and most of the dim sum was tasty as well. They were generally good, although there was one variety that we didn't enjoy as much. But the Char Siu Bao is definitely my favourite. It’s so fluffy and juicy. Overall, it's a good option for a reasonably priced Chinese takeaway, with friendly service, generous portions and a pleasant atmosphere.”
