Customer Review Summary
Most reviewers return for fresh, cooked to order Chinese food, with dumplings, prawn toasts and Singapore fried rice or vermicelli noodles named as favourites. Portions are described as filling enough to last two days. Several call the food tasty and not greasy, and some say they have ordered for years without a bad order. Delivery drivers are described as polite. The recurring complaint is the phone and the timing. Peak periods mean a wait, and a few reviewers describe a rude receptionist. One reviewer reports a Saturday order arriving far later than quoted after repeated calls, followed by shouted abuse when they tried to cancel. Another reports a food handler licking her fingers and hair in a meal, and asks the council to act. A separate reviewer found the beef with spring onion and ginger mostly onions, the ribs mostly bone, the chips not fully cooked and the Thai green curry mainly liquid. Others praise the opposite, and one describes a delivered meal as impressively hot, maybe restaurant hot.

“This will probably become our go-to take out. Easy to phone in and pay, quality of the food very good: tasty and felt fresh. The whole meal was impressively hot for a delivery, maybe restaurant hot! I don't know what else to say to make sure you appreciate just how much we enjoyed the whole meal. Like I said already, this will become our go-to take out.”

“Amazing food, only Chinese i use, but that does mean it's popular and delivery may take a while. Worth the wait though, so just order in advance.”

“Very disappointed. Have been loyal customers for years. I recently visited Mister Chef and became alarmed by the lady handling the food licking her fingers as she was handling food.Quite simply a big old disappointment, will never be ordering from there again. After the incorrect food was delivered the ignorant woman on the phone would not listen to any complaints insisting that it was not her fault and therefore not her problem.i found hair in the food & the lady over the phone was asking for the colour of hair rather than apologising & was saying iam lying. why will i lie for a food delivery ? i strogly recommend the council to take necessary action .This resturant needs to shut as its not maintaing basic health hygenine. RUDE STAFF & HOPELESS FOOD. Council Please take action.”
