About Pittlands Lakes
Pittlands Lakes is a cafe in Tonbridge on Churn Ln, attached to coarse fishing lakes where anglers can fish on an annual membership or a day ticket. The site also has a kids' lake, so younger anglers have water of their own. The cafe and lunch area look out over the lakes. Breakfast is served until midday and includes a Full English breakfast. The lunch menu lists a beef curry, and a Sunday roast is served on Sundays. Lattes are available for those who want a coffee after a morning on the bank. The site is open Tuesday to Sunday and closed on Mondays. A play park for children sits on site.

Customer Review Summary
Breakfast is what reviewers return to most, with the full English and a good latte singled out as excellent, though one diner found it dismal, citing canned tomatoes and poor quality sausage and bacon. Close behind is the Sunday roast, described as lovely and well priced, along with a beef curry that one reviewer found hotter than expected but delicious. The setting draws steady praise, with stunning lake views, lovely grounds, a play park for the kids and a chill, homey feel. Staff are repeatedly called friendly, and one reviewer notes fast service and reasonable prices. Fishing gets its own praise, with one parent describing how a member of staff showed their boys how to fish with maggots on a whip, and the children ended up baiting the hook and unhooking the fish themselves. The main complaint concerns membership, with one reviewer finding none available and hundreds on a waiting list, and noting dogs were not allowed inside.
