Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return most for the food, described as delicious and varied, with generous portions and good value. The fig salad, a scone and the cocktails and mocktails are among the items named, and dietary needs are repeatedly met, including vegetarian choices and one party's food allergy being taken seriously. Close behind is the friendly, welcoming service, with several singling out one waitress as very attentive. The garden seating beside the jasmine, the relaxed but bustling room and the sofas for coffee catch-ups also draw praise. The criticisms are small. One diner missed the specials board until after leaving and suggests a printed copy with the menu, and another asks for card payment of tips to be possible. One parent with a toddler describes a server arranging a high chair and ordering an off-menu dish for her daughter.

“What a gem of a place! This was a revisit following a wonderful meal with my grandson in the summer. They cater for my dietary needs with delicious options and our waitress, Claire, was absolutely love. Very efficient, friendly and professional. Thank you, we will return.”

“Me and my husband (!!) visited Brunch and Brew in Tenterden on our mini moon straight after getting married. We absolutely loved the food, service and atmosphere. I was on the search for a great scone and dragged him around the town before deciding on this place. We were welcomed really warmly, the interior is lovely, and the food is GORGEOUS! Special mention has to be made to the 2 ladies that served us (on the 29th September) who were so friendly and helpful. We'll be going back before leaving 100%.”

“Love this cafe! We’ve been coming for Saturday brunch most weekends for a couple of years now and it’s a firm favourite. The food is delicious and varied, with an excellent atmosphere. We’re always made to feel welcome and well looked after. Everyone there is incredibly friendly, but a big shout out to Rachel who we see and chat with most times. She’s one of the many reasons we return time and time again!”

“We’ve walked past several times when visiting Tenterden but today was the first time we’ve ventured in: what a treat! Lovely building with a bustling but relaxed atmosphere. The staff were without exception friendly and welcoming and Claire, who served us, was very friendly and attentive. The food was plentiful, tasty and good value for money. What a gem, we will definitely be returning!”

“Came for lunch today with my almost 1 year old and had a lovely experience. Claire couldn’t have been more accommodating with helping with a high chair, ordering something off menu for my daughter to eat and just overall making our experience smooth. She was incredibly kind. Eating out with kids can be stressful but Claire did everything to help. Will absolutely be returning! The food was delicious too x”
