Customer Review Summary
Diners most often praise the authentic, flavourful Thai cooking, naming the roast duck in Penang curry, the prawn red curry, a sweet Pad Thai and a chicken Massaman curry with coconut rice. One reviewer who eats a lot of Thai calls the flavours spectacular. Friendly, polite staff and quick service come up repeatedly, and several describe a lovely setting, including a courtyard where one party sat on a hot day. Some reviewers also call the prices reasonable or good value, and a family of four mentions ordering mains, two desserts and a bottle of wine. Criticism is light: one reviewer would like a few more vegetarian or vegan options, and the same reviewer suggests booking ahead at busy times to avoid waiting. Two reviewers single out the Manhattan Stack dessert, and one couple paired it with the chef's sharing starter, which they called gorgeous, before describing the dessert as to die for.

“Absolutely spectacular food!! My mouth is buzzing from all the flavours, and this is from someone that eats a lot of Thai. I'm so, so impressed. The roast duck in Penang curry sauce was to die for, the Pad Thai delicious and sweet, and the prawn red curry cooked perfectly. Well done Jicsaw.”

“Visited Jicsaw on 22/08/2026 with my family of 4. This is an excellent restaurant. Lovely staff and gorgeous, fresh food, made with Love. I had a vegetarian dish, the lads had meat and fish options. We had main courses, two deserts and a bottle of wine. The cost was good value for great quality food. If ever in this area again, I will definitely pay another visit to Jicsaw. Thank you to everyone who made our visit so enjoyable.”

“Awesome Thai restaurant! Haven't been able to go for a few years, but I was reminiscing with the missus how amazing this restaurant is and we need to plan a trip to eat here again. 10/10 highly recommend.”
