  “Unfortunately La Strada didn’t hit the spot liked myself and my partner had hoped. We’d heard such good things, too. We both ordered starters and mains. The garlic mushrooms and king prawns. Both were very plain with very little about them. I then had a pizza, which again wouldn’t have surprised me if I had been told it was straight out of the freezer. I can’t vouch for my partner’s dish, but it didn’t make us want to return that’s for sure. It could have been so much better as the service was fine and pleasant, the drinks were served quickly and the place was clean and pleasant. Shame.”

  “We went to La Strada on Friday evening for my son’s 3rd birthday celebration and had such a lovely experience. The whole team went out of their way to make him feel special. There was a balloon waiting for him when we arrived, they put a candle in his ice cream and the entire team came over to sing Happy Birthday to him, which he absolutely loved. They were also brilliant with the children throughout the evening - really friendly, warm and engaging, which made the whole experience feel so relaxed and enjoyable. The food was amazing, the drinks were great and the setting is lovely. It has such a nice atmosphere and the location is beautiful too. Thank you to the whole team for making his birthday celebration so memorable - we’ll definitely be back!”

  “We had a wonderful experience here! I was planning a surprise cake for my husband’s birthday, and our waitress Natasha was absolutely wonderful! She even helped keep it a secret by covering for me when he tried to join our conversation. She went above and beyond, and the whole team was just as friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was lovely, staff were welcoming throughout, and the food was fantastic. Highly, highly recommend this place! 🥰💖💖”

  “Surprisingly few people in forr a Saturday lunchtime but those that were there were enthusiastic. A long menu offered plenty of choice. The food was good and generously portioned. Service was pleasant and accurate except for a briefly forgotten salad. The bill was perfectly reasonable for three people and no tip was automatically added - which meant that I tipped more.”

  “We had a lovely evening celebrating a birthday this evening. The staff were so friendly and they decorated the table with a balloon, decorated the plate with “happy birthday” and also sang happy birthday with candles on a pudding… you couldn’t ask for more! There was a great atmosphere and we will definitely return. Thanks!”

  “We recently visited with friends in a party of 6. We had been before, but I have to say that we were all really impressed with the standard of food and service, on what was a very busy night. The menu is quite extensive and should cover most tastes. Wine selection is good with many available by the glass. Service was excellent and very friendly. If you are looking for a good Italian meal in pleasant surroundings then look no further.”

  “We came here for our anniversary meal. I had let them know on our booking it was our wedding anniversary, when we got to the table we had this anniversary balloon. They also brought us complimentary anniversary drinks. The food was so incredible. My husband said it was the best dessert he's had in his life. We had a lot of the items on the specials menu. The fish tasted so good. The staff are lovely, one of the staff members came up to us to say happy anniversary on behalf of the staff as well. They were very attentive. As you can see, they wrote it on our bowls too. One of the best restaurants for making you feel special on your anniversary. The espresso martini was also one of the best I've ever had. We want to come back in the future already. Best Italian in the area by far. It was packed too, clearly people love it, would recommend booking!”

  “My parents had their 40th wedding anniversary lunch here. It was lovely from start to finish. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. The service was on point and food was very tasty. They also accommodated for myself who has food allergies, very flexible. Would highly recommended them.”
