  “Excellent main courses (we had lamb chops and chicken pasanda) and pretty generous portions as you'd hope from a good curry house. It all tasted very fresh and less oily than your average. Certainly a cut above. Service was a bit hit and miss across the evening but it was busy. We had a couple of lovely vegetarian sides in leu of a main and they were just as good, one of the best sag paneer ever had with a nice coconut base. The naan breads were very nice and very nice. Modern decor. But hit and cold spots due to AC fan heating. Now this place is generally v good, but some negatives. £5 seems outrageous for a small pilau that seemed of completely different quality to the rest of the food. And I d like the gents to be better, but again probably better than in your average curry house. All in all much better than an average provincial village indian. Would return.”

  “The staff are welcoming and friendly. The service is good and the food excellent. My daughters partner had the mixed starter and said it was the best samosa he had ever had. We enjoyed all the dishes, had too many too many to mention although I do love the Bengal curry and chat starters.”
