About Hungry n Thirsty

Hungry n Thirsty is an Indian restaurant and bar on Cricklade Road in Swindon. The kitchen runs a Kerala-leaning menu, anchored by a traditional Onam Sadhya served on a banana leaf with Sambar, Aviyal, Thoran, Parippu Curry, Payasam and the rest of the festival spread, from Pappadam and Rice to beetroot and pineapple sides. Alongside it, the menu offers a wide vegetarian range with several paneer preparations, dals and spinach dishes. The bar side covers drinks to pair with the food. The dining room handles walk-ins, and the team serves food across the day on the standard weekly pattern.

“**Traditional Onam Sadya at Hungry n Thirsty** I ordered the **Traditional Onam Sadya** from Hungry n Thirsty and it was absolutely fantastic. The entire spread was authentic, flavourful, and prepared with real care. Every dish — from the comforting **Sambar** and crispy **Chips**/**Sharkara Varatti** to the refreshing **Beetroot Pachadi**, **Pineapple Kichadi**, and classic **Aviyal** — tasted truly authentic. The variety was impressive: **Inji Curry**, **Mango Curry**, **Thoran**, **Kootu Curry**, **Parippu Curry**, **Cabbage Poriyal**, **Cucumber Pachadi**, **Masala Vadai**, **Pappadam**, and perfectly cooked **Rice** — everything was fresh and well‑balanced. The meal ended beautifully with a delicious **Payasam** that truly captured the festive spirit of Onam. A wonderfully prepared Sadya that brought the flavours of Kerala to life. Highly recommended for anyone looking to celebrate Onam with an authentic, satisfying feast.”

“Absolutely loved our experience at Hungry n Thirsty on Cricklade Road, Swindon! 🌟 For vegetarians, this place is a real gem. The choice is impressive, with plenty of proper vegetarian dishes rather than just one or two token options. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, full of flavour and wonderfully spiced. The portions were generous too, which made the whole experience even better. What really stood out was the variety of authentic Indian flavours — from the dals and spinach dishes to the different paneer preparations. Everything felt hearty, satisfying and made with care. The staff were warm, welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere made it a lovely place to enjoy a relaxed meal. It is great to find somewhere in Swindon where vegetarians can genuinely look forward to the food rather than having to settle for limited choices. Highly recommended for vegetarians and anyone who loves authentic, flavourful Indian food. We will definitely be coming back!”
