About The Swynnerton Arms
The Swynnerton Arms is a traditional pub and restaurant in Stoke On Trent, open daily with a large dining area and a separate bar area. A two-course meal is served all day, every day, so the set menu is available at any point in the opening hours. Mains include gammon with egg and chips, Cumberland sausage and mash, and homemade lasagne, and the chips are made in house. On Sundays the kitchen serves roasts with homemade yorkies. A lunchtime offer applies to selected meals. The bar also serves hot drinks alongside its range of other drinks.

Customer Review Summary
Homemade chips are the most repeated draw, praised alongside a homemade lasagne, fish and chips, pie and chips, liver and onions, hunters chicken and Sunday roasts with real homemade yorkies. Reviewers describe good-sized portions, meat cooked to perfection and presentation they liked, and several mention good value, including a lunchtime offer on selected meals. Staff are often called friendly, warm and efficient. The criticism is specific. One diner found a black pudding starter cremated and a Cumberland sausage tough and tasteless, another had a fatty steak and felt rushed by staff, and a curry and a chicken tikka masala did not suit two reviewers. Some thought it expensive for what arrived, and one called the soft drink prices extortionate. The decor draws comment too, with paintwork needing refreshing and torn seat coverings in the bar area. One group's kids' meals came out after everyone else's, and an otherwise gorgeous roast was let down by burnt roast potatoes.

K I would highly recommend 🍽️👌🏽👍🏽”

“The roasts were really gorgeous just the roast potatoes unfortunately were too burnt. Starters were nice, good prices value for 2 courses £20.”

“I visited last Wednesday, when the place we really wanted to go was unfortunately closed. The food was good, we had a sausage and mash and a gammon, egg and chips. The dining area is quite big and they had a good range of drinks. The service was OK, but nothing outstanding, but the decor was a bit sad. Some of the paint work needed refreshing and several of the seats in the bar area have torn coverings. Not a bad place but needs some TLC.”
