About Harvester Trentham Lakes Stoke
Harvester Trentham Lakes Stoke is a British family restaurant on Trentham Lakes, set beside a Holiday Inn hotel and part of the Harvester chain. The menu leans on grill-focused British dishes, with the tikka flatbread standing out among the starters, and a kids' meal deal covers a main, two sides and a dessert for £1. The format is walk-in throughout the day, taking breakfast, brunch and lunch alongside the evening service, and the kitchen also prepares food for takeaway. A bar runs through the space, covering the same hours as the dining room. The room takes groups and families for sit-down meals, and a steady flow of walk-ins keeps service at a counter pace. Free parking is available on site for diners.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the servers, describing them as welcoming, friendly, helpful and quick, with one noting a server who was patient and went out of her way to ease the worries of first-time parents with a baby. A couple of reviewers urge asking for a particular server, and several say they came back for another visit. On the food, the tikka flatbread is called a standout, and a family on a long drive praised the kids' deal of a main, two sides and dessert. Others call the food lovely, tasty and brilliant, and one praises the seating. The criticism is sharper but less common. One reviewer describes dry, tasteless burgers after a long wait, a bacon burger that arrived with no bacon, and a waitress who ignored the table before offering a lengthy extra wait to fix it. Another found the food a disappointment despite a lovely waitress and a clean, pleasant room.

“The waitress was lovely, and the restaurant was clean with a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food was a real disappointment and didn’t live up to expectations. It’s a shame, as the service and environment were both good”

“Ate here with the family, was a nice stop during a long drive back to London from Scotland. Tikka flatbread was a standout, tasty and really good value for money. Kids enjoyed a main, 2 sides and dessert for £1. Victoria served us with care and a lovely smile, thank you!”

“Second time to eat here and it has been just as phenomenal as the first time, food was glorious, ridiculously tasty and fantastic seating. As new-ish parents we were a little worried coming out but our server, Victoria alleviated all our worries and was incredibly patient and went out of her way to make us comfortable. Thankyou ever so much :)”
