  “I don’t know what’s happened to the owners attitude but it’s charged and she’s very rude. Saw her shout at customers that she’s too busy to serve them. They should employ more staff because they’re clearly popular enough to be busy - that’s NOT the customers problem- it’s yours! Stop being rude and mean to people”

  “I ordered it from Oriental but today for me and my partner I ordered the chicken some chips and some ribs. This took two hours to come and when it was delivered it was cold. I then phoned up to complain and got greeted with a very rude unprofessional staff member who proceeded to shout down the phone at me because I’ve put the cold food in the bin and wasn’t able to swap it. She also started telling me to them for the bin and to get my food and as I was explained so I’m unable to do that due to unhygienic reasons and also because of my job where I am a nurse and unable to be putting my hands in disgusting places as I don’t know what germs I can attract from that and possibly give to my patience which was explained to her on the phone And again I was told or in other words demanded to take my food out of the bin because they would not give me a refund the owner of the shop was also in the back shouting about me to the lady on the phone and it was an extremely rude unprofessional environment. I’ve never had any issues with this place. I’ve ordered from them many times but today was extremely disgusting the way that I was spoken to and I was also told because I could not rummage through the bin that they would then give me a phone number so I can take a picture of the food in the bin and that I was not allowed to order from there again because I’d asked for a refund or then send me some warm food after I sent them a picture of the food in the bin they have told me that that is not the food in the bin and that I was unable to get a refund and not being able to get some food I was not recommend..”

  “A great restaurant! Fast delivery with a nice driver and service always good when we have collected. Some of the best Chinese food we’ve had and they have always chucked in some freebies ;)”

  “I’ve been coming here now for years. I work in the local pub and even when I’m not. The food it absolutely incredible I couldn’t find a fault for anything. I would highly recommend this to people!!”

  “Living in new mills you would think we have a choice of great Chinese takeaways, but you’d be wrong! Our 2 local Chinese’s have gone down in quality and up in price so we were advised to try oriental hut a few months ago and we have not been disappointed!! Waiting for my delivery now and I know it’s going to be excellent as always. The salt and pepper dishes are nice and fiery!! Staff are friendly and food is always hot on delivery.”

  “We live in Hawk Green and have used Hawk Green Friery for years when Julie was the owner.. Not so keen with the new owners so we tried here. Been regulars now for a few months. Its excellent 👌. Delivery as well. Not had a bad meal .”

  “We’ve ordered a few times after being disappointed with our local Chinese takeaways in Romiley. Each time service and food have both been incredible. On the times we’ve collected staff have been lovely and happy to help in any way. Food tastes great and is always hot. Was recommended by a friend and would recommend to others.”

  “Really disappointing. Chips are pre processed, sauce tastes like curry and gravy blended together and becomes sickly very quickly. The place itself is really outdated and the waiting area makes you feel like you're in a bottom end bedsit.”
