  “Never again! Had a delivery at weekend that was just disgraceful! £29 for a combination starter that was not enough for 1 person and was of very poor quality. They turned up 20 minutes later with part of it that they had “forgotten”! Tried to call to discuss my disappointment and was promised a call back from management to discuss but no call received. The picture is of £29 worth of Royal Combination starter!!”

  “Everything was perfect until I ordered extra pancakes for my duck. The waitress told me there was a charge I thought she was joking so I ordered them and then they charged 280 for 4 pancakes. I have never experienced this in any Chinese’s in the UK which was a shame. Because everything else was perfect.”

  “I’ve come a handful of times and I absolutely love the place! Food is exceptional, consistently amazing quality, as well as the staff who are so lovely and hospitable. Huge amount of Vegetarian options, and even desserts are tasty! See you soon :-)”

  “First time here and food was amazing! Service was great too. Had a minor mixup with one of the dishes when I t came but the staff sorted it out quickly with no fuss. Highly recommend and we will back”

  “First time and definitely won't be the last. I must have driven past 500 times but finally went for a family meal and wow am I glad that I did. The selection of food is brilliant so much choice! The appetisers were delightful we all shared so I tried amazing prawn toast, satay skewers and crispy aromatic duck. Then between us we had Crispy chilli beef in ok sauce, chicken in ginger and spring onion , chicken satay... Overall a brilliant experience”

  “Dated 80’s style restaurant with a hideous, yellowing polystyrene ceiling. The whole place needs redecorating. There was food left on the floor under the tables & dreadful service by staff who barely look up, so it’s a job to get their attention. An older female waitress was extremely rude & the restaurant manger was clearly telling the staff off in front of customers! We were made to feel like we were inconveniencing them. We ordered a decent amount of various dishes. The food was edible, but extremely overpriced, with a ‘service’ charge automatically added. The batter on my lemon cod, was undercooked & very stodgy. Most of the dishes are inauthentic with very little flavour. We couldn’t eat most of it, so we politely took the leftovers home, but thought better of it & threw it all in the bin. The wine wasn’t even chilled! For £135.00, it’s a complete rip off. Do yourself a favour & don’t bother. It’s ghastly.”

  “The food was fantastic, one of the best hot and sour soups around. The beef satay was excellent. Super friendly staff so helpful. And there are prawn crackers on the table when you arrive. I would definitely recommend this place. It seemed a little more expensive than most Chinese restaurants, but I think this is for the FREE prawn crackers on the table, and also, probably where it is situated!! The only annoying thing is they add their own TIP on the bill, which annoys the crap out of me as this is the UK, and everyone is paid minimum wage, at least! Not like America, where they have to work for their wages via tips !”

  “This is definitely the best restaurant experience in Hazel Grove. The landlady, manager Jenny even part time Doris and other staff all gave us the best service. I chose here to celebrate my husband’s birthday with all the family members and we really had a great time. They even surprised us preparing the birthday balloon and birthday glasses for my husband. Not only the food were brilliant but also the price was super reasonable. The funny thing was there were 4 different tables celebrating birthday at the same night so that the birthday music and claps were nearly all night along☺️ My husband really enjoyed having his birthday dinner here and felt very welcomed. Thank you very much, Peking Garden.🌹”

  “Nb the photos are from a previous far better qaulity visit.We recently visited the establishment and were disappointed with the quality of the ribs and satay chicken. The ribs were dry and appeared to have been reheated, as they were tough on the outside. We arrived early for our reservation, so we expected to receive freshly prepared food. Additionally, the service was lacking as no one came to check on our meal. When we mentioned our concerns to the staff upon paying, the response was dismissive and unapologetic. This experience was particularly disappointing as we had previously enjoyed dining at this restaurant regularly.”

  “Restaurant was too cold Food wasn't nice. Service wasn't the best. Ordered tea for three people, charged for three and it came late after the food. well i had to go and ask for it, again after tiny tea pot was empty, I had to go ask for it again. It was literally two table. Us and one other couple table. Pricy for not authentic food. I wouldn't even blame if it's still good even though it might not be authentic but it's rubbish for normal asian. Soup was bad. Soup and Mapo tofu tasted the same. Mapo tofu was the worst I have had. Take away even might be better than that. Asparagus stirred fry was little asparagus and mainly mangetout and onions. Also asparagus were hard, more like roots than tips. Chicken had too much pepper and again it's the most okay ish out of all. seafood fried rice had tiny small frozen quality shrimps and that's all. Same for vermicelli. Taste wasn't great either. Steamed plain rice was the most okay, still a bit hard. I don't know why it even has 4.3. They didn't do a table check at all. Only when i asked for more hot water refill for tea (way after mid way of eating) they quickly asked if everything was okay for the sake of it... Toilet wasn't the cleanest. Also charged service charges for minimum service they provided. Pricy and small portion of bad taste food. Go to Manchester or Poyton for Tom Yum Thai food for Asian. Not worth it if you are looking for authentic food.”
