  “My wife and I have just had a lovely meal at Miller and Carter Southampton. Lisa our server was very friendly and made us feel at home making our lunch special. And then Alice, our grill chef cooked our very tasty food. Can not fault anything and would highley recommend if you are looking for a lovely restaurant with excellent food and friendly attentive servers. Thanks for a very enjoyable meal!!”

  “I visited Miller & Carter Southampton for the first time and had a really enjoyable experience. The food was excellent. I had the Miller's Dirty Burger and the sea bass, and both dishes were delicious and beautifully prepared. The service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that it was very warm inside the restaurant on a hot summer day, which made it a little less comfortable. Apart from that, everything was great, and I'd definitely recommend it.”

  “Service was exceptional from Danny and Phoebe. Phoebe welcomed us and sat us down and Danny served us and kept checking in if we were okay. Phoebe also brought over a dessert on the house for my partners birthday. Honestly amazing and both went above and beyond. Will definitely be returning because of these two!!”

  “What an incredible experience. I would so recommend this venue. Our waitress was Sue and she was so knowledgeable. She really knew all the different cuts and gave great advice. The grill chef was Alice and she produced the tastiest steaks ever! Great atmosphere and would really recommend for a great evening out.”

  “It goes without saying that the food here is always incredible, but the service deserves its own praise. With recently discovering a gluten and yeast intolerance, finding places that can cater to that is pretty difficult. It's wonderful that they have a gluten-free menu here, but what was amazing is that our server (Danny) was able to talk us through the ingredients and options for each item to help manage my yeast intolerance. We've had Danny serve us before and both times he has been a real star. Super friendly and always happy to help with any issues, a real gem of a person. If you have him as your server you're guaranteed to have a great experience :)”

  “We had a terrible experience. We visited for a family members 60th birthday. We chose Miller and Carter based on its reputation, we choose unwisely. When we arrived our tables weren’t ready which ruined the birthday surprise. After a long wait our orders were taken with staters arriving 2 hours after our arrival time. Our mains arrived almost an hour after our starters. One meal was sent back as it was wrong. When waiting for the desserts the staff were asked if we could have the children’s puddings quicker so they could have those and then head home, our waiter said no in an extremely rude manner. We purposely booked an earlier time as there were several young kids in our party who by the end of the experience were exhausted. When the bill arrived we noticed that we had been over charged, with many of the Sunday meals being put through as the normal menu. It took over half an hour for the manager to realise what had gone wrong. We arrived at 5pm and 9:50. Slow service, underwhelming food at extremely high prices. Not impressed”

  “Our first time at MandC, a wedding gift voucher - it was epic! Unexpectedly arrived on ‘dates and steaks’ night so had a three course meal including calamari, sirloin steak, sticky toffee pudding for my partner and a huge lemon meringue for me. It was all amazing and we will be returning again! Hannah was our waitress, she was totally lovely and very helpful. Grill chef Nick was clearly a superb cook. A lovely dinner.”
