  “I’ve been visiting The Balmoral for years, yes it has varied but it’s always been good to excellent. It’s a chain that serves quality food unlike many of its competitors. A sad loss and victim of Government taxes and the parent company’s greed? Thank you Balmoral team and best wishes.”

  “Lovely place. Went on back holiday and it was quiet. Sad to hear the staff are in limbo. Was overcharged for a meal they didn't serve and it's certainly not the cheapest place I've eaten. Food was pretty good though. Can't complain about the service and glad we could get out of the sun!”

  “Had my evening meal and breakfast here as a part of the Premier inn meal deal offering. I really enjoyed my breakfast but wasn't as impressed with my evening meal which was just ok. Service was good though and would return.”

  “Harry Ramsden's is a classic choice for fish and chips in the UK. The fish is fresh, coated in a crispy, golden batter, and the chips are thick-cut and well cooked. Portions are generous, and the taste is traditional—nothing fancy, but exactly what you’d expect. It can be a bit greasy at times, but overall it’s a solid spot for classic British fast food.”

  “Family meal out. Sadly had to wait a bit too long for our food. Had to ask where it was, waited about 30-35mins after finishing starters. Sea bass was dry & overcooked, my burger was sadly dry - was really looking forward to it. Cauliflower cheese was inedible & looked like baby food - sent it back as it was so bad. Kids enjoyed their food, chips were good & staff were great. 1st time in a beefeater for 30 years and sadly would rush back. Photo is the Cauliflower Cheese. I'd have been embarrassed to bring that out.”

  “Myself and a friend visited on a weekday evening for a meal & drinks. We hadn’t prebooked a table and were told on arrival that there were no tables, so were directed to eat in the Bar area. I ate a pie for mains and crumble for dessert. All food & drink ordered at the bar. The downside was that due to short staffing we had to clear our table of plates & glasses from the previous customers, although a member of staff wiped the table clean.”

  “We arrived here on our travels home and was pleased to find they had several seats available, our drinks order was taken quickly but food ordering took much longer and we had to grab the attention of the waitress. Food was tasty and the wait wasn't too long, the place quickly filled up and unfortunately we were greeted with stress from one member of the public who made my wife feel uncomfortable.”
