Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often point to the jungle-themed decor, a quirky mix of orchids, a tiger at the entrance, a leopard, parrots and a monkey, and several call it fun. The food gets equally warm words, with the prawns from the set menu, the calamari, the stir fry and a very good satay sauce named specifically. A vegetable starter of corn fritters and deep-fried veggies, the Yum Pak salad and the Tom Kha Gai also earn praise. Service is described as friendly, attentive and fast, with food reaching one table in under ten minutes, and one diner appreciated the gluten free menu. Reviewers call the flavors authentic, though one describes it as partially anglicised. The main reservation comes from experienced Thai diners who found the dishes a bit too sweet and short on fish sauce, with the Tom Kha Gai needing a touch more. One reviewer also flags a 10% service fee added to the total bill, yet still left saying the meal felt relaxed and unrushed.

“This place is the best Thai restaurant I have ever been at! The staff was friendly, the decor was fun and the food was fantastic!! We had the set menu and it was amazing, we recommend the prawns which were absolutely delicious! 🍤😋Where we were seated there was a nice little fountain and fake animals like a leopard, a few parrots and a monkey. 🐵🐆🦜It all brought up the atmosphere in the restaurant. 😃Overall a 5/5 for me!!”

“What-A-Lovely-Place! Skipton you sure are lucky to have this place. As soon as you walk in you’re greeted by a tiger (not a real one) They’ve gone for jungle exotic decor which I love!! The service is warm and friendly. The food was fresh and tasty. The calamari was to die for ( I could eat that everyday!) With the dishes we got, I don’t think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. Just a heads up, they do charge a 10% service fee on your total bill. That being said we enjoyed our meal and dining experience there immensely. Didn’t feel rushed, wasn’t too crowded, and quite relaxing. Do yourself a favour and dine at this spot. If i’m ever in this area again I will visit.”

“This was a late booking for a Friday evening, so was pleasantly surprised to actually manage to book a table. As mentioned by others, the decor is quirky, but I like a place with character. The food and drinks were literally on the table less than ten minutes after ordering (both ordered stir fry) and both dishes were well presented and delicious! Would definitely be back if I'm back in Skipton again!”

Good to know

“We are a group of people who interest in food and have overwhelming desire to create own restaurant where we can cook a good food in a good atmosphere. We started our dream by rending a restaurant in Shipley, and stepped forward to build our own restaurant in a Skipton, the little small historic town in North Yorkshire with beautiful scenery, a perfect place for us.”
