  “Came here with my parents. We all said the same thing about the atmosphere not feeling or looking welcoming. Ordered on app which is quicker than most but food took a lot longer than any spoons iv ever been in despite it not being to busy. Food was mediocre mums pie was grisly and tasteless. My katsu curry was nice but it had more flavour in the spoons where I live (we are visiting on holiday) dad’s meal was ok again nothing specially. The lady that brought us our food was really lovely however ,so thank god for the staff which is why iv given 2 stars instead of one. We won’t be coming back!”

  “Popped into this very busy branch of witherspoons lots of good seating areas inside and out very cheap bar excellent value sat at a nice comfortable table ordered our food which was our table very quickly may be bit too quick because my chicken was cold but have to be fair they replaced the food very kindly very friendly staff nothing is to much trouble and they were very busy food very good price with free drink situated on the courner of roman bank and busy vibrant lumley road if you want a cheap drink and a great meal its excellent”

  “Lovely food. We had breakfast there it was lovely. Good prices. But no car park so have to park at the nearest pay and display.”

  “Always crowded with people coming off the train or getting a train. Lots of holiday makers use it. Staff are pleaseent good service.Food is just okay. Good for a quick bite and a drink.”

  “For some unknown reason. A waitress from this venue came out of the pub to rudely tell me I had to order food or drink. I was simply stood on the street outside with my baby in the pram. I definitely wouldn’t want to be inside if that’s how they speak to people.”
