“I went one evening with my wife after a recommendation and wasn't disappointed. I had lamb and my wife had duck leg. Both were well cooked, full of flavour and the portions generous. This was followed by delicious and beautifully presented profetta rolls. The service was friendly helpful and polite. We will certainly be returning.”

“We have been coming here for years. For Sunday lunch, not often enough. If looking for traditional meal this is the place. The restaurant is clean and tidy some people say old fashioned but that’s what we like, a truly independently run, with very reasonably priced meals. For Sunday lunch you pay for main which includes starter and dessert about 20 to 25 ish. Food is large portions hot and nice, nothing to flash but not boring. Ideal place for family gatherings. Highly recommend. Also I judge a place by its care of toilets and they are well maintained and clean. We all been restaurant and seen horrible toilets it shows the attitude.”

“Really wonderful little spot for a meal. Family and kid friendly. Food is excellent. Adult meals - the duck confit and the pate were delicious. Portions generous. Kids meals even more so! Great value for money for kids. And friendly helpful polite service. My picky eater gobbled it all up. And the photos are after she already picked off food!”
