Customer Review Summary

Huge platters of meat repeatedly draw the most praise, with reviewers singling out the mixed souvlaki, chicken gyro pitta, and pork gyros meal as standouts, alongside a moussaka one diner called the best they'd tasted. Portions come up again and again as generous, often sent home in takeaway boxes, and the fresh salad, flatbread and halloumi fries served alongside are frequently mentioned as extras that round out the meal. Close behind the food, service draws consistent notes of friendliness, with staff described as attentive even during busy Friday night bookings and large group celebrations. Several diners mention the Greek lemon iced tea and the coffee, and gluten free options are noted as clearly signposted. One reviewer found the food good and fresh but felt it did not fully meet their expectations for authenticity, rating the visit lower despite calling the service correct and the atmosphere cozy. Multiple reviewers describe returning again and again, with one recalling being offered an off-menu dish made on request and picking out cakes to take away on the way out.

“Great little find, we were walking around trying to find somewhere for a drink and food. We were warmly welcomed and given a table. We had the chicken gyro pitta and the souvlaki plate. The food was delicious it was as close as I have found in the UK to the Greek food I love. Seriously considering the 4 hour round trip to come again. If you love greek food check this place out.”

“We came last night (Friday June 5th) WOW!! Absolutely stunning food! The moussaka was the BEST I have ever tasted! The staff were lovely too and the lad who served us was brilliant and funny 🥰 I will definitely be coming back again”

“We enjoyed a fab lunch here, gluten free options are clearly signposted on the menu and there are plenty of them. The coffee was also very tasty! We would be happy to return next time we are in the area... and order at least twice the number of stuffed vine leaves”

“Best Greek I’ve been to outside of Greece, and even beats some I’ve visited there. We booked on a Friday night and they were obviously very busy but still had a quick turnaround. The portions were huge and it was all delicious. Can’t wait to go back.”
