About Brewski Sheffield
Brewski Sheffield is a new American restaurant at Unit 14 in Sheffield, where the menu changes every two months and is built around sharing platters called the mate date. The kitchen makes everything in house, from the sauces to the desserts. The current menu runs to 56 dishes, with a bone marrow burger topped with caramelised onions, poutine that can be upgraded to a mini poutine, and a Chorizo Queso Dip among them. Tiramisu and a dessert sharer cover the sweet end. Platters change with the season, and past ones have included a Sunday sharer and a Ski Season Sharer. Table service is the format, and servers talk guests through menu adaptations. Reservations are taken, though a wait for a table can still occur.

Customer Review Summary
Burgers draw the most praise, with reviewers describing soft, juicy beef and singling out the caramelised onions on the bone marrow burger. Close behind are the sharing platters, including the Sunday sharer with sirloin, pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese, which one reviewer says served two with food left over, and the Ski Season Sharer. Loaded fries, poutine, smokey tacos with onion gravy and the tiramisu also get mentions, and portions are called generous, with a side of mac said to serve two or three. Several suggest ordering the chipotle sour cream dip with the burgers and upgrading to the mini poutine. Service is repeatedly described as friendly and attentive without hovering, with servers talking diners through the menu's many adaptations. The caveats are modest. A few call it pricey, though they say the food justified it. One reviewer found the steak a bit chewy, and another with a booking still waited for a table and had drinks in the meantime. One diner celebrating a birthday received a card and a free drink.

“What an amazing host Johnny was. Outstanding service. The food came out so much faster than we expected and was a perfect 10/10. We order a sharing platter and a couple small plates for 4. Was filling enough for all of us. The tiramisu was an excellent finish.”

“Great place to sit down and eat some great food. Jonny was spot on with his recommendations and a great waiter. Chef Tom made the most delicious burger ever and definitely recommend upgrading to the mini poutine”

“Made a booking here soon after seeing an online review on this place. I have to say it was fab. Such a relaxing cool, cozy vibe with really caring staff and great music! I must say I have not tried too many burgers in my life, however these ones were the best I have ever had thus far. The texture of them was SO soft and the beef was delightful and juicy. The caramelised onions in the bone marrow burger were to die for. Unexpectedly, the chipotle sour cream dip paired PERFECTLY with the burgers so I seriously recommend ordering it. Tacos were so smokey and delicious with a rich onion gravy. Steak had a good flavour but was a bit chewy but I seriously do not mind because everything else made it so worth it. It was my first time trying chimichurri as well and I loved it!! Don’t worry if you think there was not enough cheese on the poutines, there was so much more underneath as well as a pool of gravy😜. The crunch of the skin on fries was delightful and they were not greasy. You can really taste the fresh skin which I personally enjoy so much. Even the bacon on the Caesar salad was perfect with no fatty bits. Overall quite pricey but I do not regret it one bit as it is a great spot for a once in a while experience of premium tasting comfort food like this.”
