About Camilla Luxe Nails & Spa
On Chapel Walk in Sheffield, Camilla Luxe Nails & Spa works by appointment across a treatment list built around nails. BIAB sits alongside acrylic extensions finished with gel designs, and the team can work from an inspiration picture a client brings in. Manicures and pedicures are booked as separate treatments and can be combined in one visit, with gel polish on both. Nail art extends to seasonal sets, including Christmas designs. Eyebrow waxing and tinting run alongside the nail work for anyone adding a brow appointment to the same booking. The floor team includes a manager plus male and female technicians. Doors open Monday to Saturday and stay closed on Sundays, and a wait can happen at busier times as technicians move between clients. Payment is taken by card.

“Best nail salon around. Been going a long time now, professional and friendly team. Experts in nail art and best quality nails. Also the best most confotable place for a relaxing pedicure”

“I had a lovely pedicure with gel polish, which took maybe an hour or so. I then had a manicure and gel set which only took about 15 minutes. I received good service and was very happy with the results.”

“Absolutely disgraceful. I wish i had read these reviews before coming as many people say the same thing. I cannot believe how unprofessional and disrespectful this salon is. me and my elderly mother who i had brought to the salon to pamper herself with a pedicure, were treated this way. You called us rude for asking a question as a customer we have the right to ask about the services you provide. Me and my mum went in and enquired about the prices and we were told to take a seat. My mum as a muslim asked if a woman would be able to do the pedicure. In the salon there were three people, manager (woman), a man and a young lady. My mum asked if there was a fan or any air conditioning as it was boiling hot day to which you replied that you were very cold and she should take off her jacket (she did not have a jacket on). My mum saw that the man was explaining everything to the young lady and showing her what to do whilst my mum was waiting for the pedicure. Rightfully so my mum was concerned that the young lady did not know how to do it and asked if i could ask the manager (other woman) if the young lady was trained with pedicures or if it was her first time. My mum is paying full price and is therefore expecting a good service in return. This is a very normal expectation. When i asked the manager she immediately snapped and shouted at me saying “wth you are so rude, so rude, omg you asked for a woman so we gave you a woman … if you don’t want you can go, you can go out” I was in shock, how dare a manager speak that way to a customer for asking a question quietly and politely. I couldn’t believe the way this woman spoke to us. The way you treat people is disgusting and absolutely unacceptable. My mum felt so uncomfortable the entire time and felt like she had been treated like dirt. I have worked in many jobs with customers before and if someone says something you don’t react this way, even if you don’t like it you don’t call them rude and shout at them. on our way out, i paid and told the manager that she was unprofessional and she responded to me saying they have cctv. no accountability or apology at all.”

“Absolutely over the moon with my nails. They make sure you get what you want. Super welcoming and friendly. Also you can pay by card which is a bonus. Will definitely go back. Thank you.”

“Awful, stressful experience. The staff are horrible, they shout at you and you don't get what you ask for. I asked for red and said i didn't mind if the shape was almond or round as long as thwy were short because i have to have short nails for work. They put huge acrylics on and said they would file them down later when they did the shape, but then refused to do so. I must have had to ask 15+ times for sjort nails, no exaggerating. They made me feel like i was being difficult and kept repeating that the staff had not eaten since 9 in the morning. Although i had waited 40+ minutes with half done nails whe they worked on other clients i said i would wait for the girl to take a break and eat something hut the manager shouted "no! Too many customers!" I felt really awful, they made me feel like it was my fault but i'm just a customer, i'm not in charge of breaks or staff welfare. If i was people would get breaks to eat! Did a terrible job, split my finger open, left cuticle matter in the gel and made me feel really uncomfortable. Additionally one nail veers to the left, when i asked to rectify this they said it was the natural shape of my nail...but that nail has never leant to the left until now 🤔 Horrible place run by horrible people. Go elsewhere, it's not worth the hassle.”

Customer Review Summary
The finished nails draw the steadiest praise: red cat eye BIAB sets, Christmas nails one reviewer singles out for a little snowman, acrylic extensions matched to an inspo photo, and gel pedicures described as relaxing. A few mention welcoming, unhurried staff, and one notes a money off voucher handed over at Christmas. Against that, several reviewers describe rude, aggressive treatment and shouting. One recounts a question about whether a technician was trained drawing a shouted reply and no apology, with an elderly relative asking for a female technician left feeling dismissed. Another describes filing so rough and fast it left nails paper thin and painful, with repeated complaints of pain going unanswered amid staff who seemed rushed and overwhelmed. A third recounts asking many times for short nails, being refused a file down, a split finger and cuticle matter left in the gel. Cleanup comes up again in a mixed account of glue and gel left around the fingers. One long time customer loves the nails and asks only that the shouting stop.
