“After seeing many people on the local Facebook group recommend this place, I decided to place an order for my first takeaway in over 4 years from here and I wish I hadn't. I ordered the following: 1. Beef in black bean sauce - tasted bland and had to add some soy sauce to it just to give it some flavour. 2. House special fried rice - ok 3. House special curry - This was the blandest meal out of everything. Major disappointment 4. House special crispy noodles - expected more meat and was the flavour was slightly disappointing. I ended frying my leftovers in a pan with some more spices and sauces. 5. Salt and pepper squid - usually when I order this from a restaurant it tastes crispy texture and is flavoursome. However, this had an inconsistent texture and was bland. 6. Sweet and sour chicken - ok 7. Salt and pepper chips - It looked like the establishment forgot I ordered salt and pepper chips. There was minimal seasoning, and the chips tasted like they had been fried some time earlier and were going stale and they simply threw some onions on top Overall, I wouldn't waste my money and order from here again. A £40 order just for a 1/3 of the meal to be of reasonable quality.”
