Customer Review Summary
The set meal for two draws repeat praise as reviewers call this family run takeaway their favourite, with several returning over years and describing consistently fresh, tasty food. The Singapore chow mein and pancake roll earn specific mention for generous portions and quality, alongside the curry sauce and crispy chilli beef when done well. A few describe it as a well kept secret with good prices and quick pickup. Against this, a handful of reviews report a different experience: one found the chicken and sweetcorn soup like porridge and the crispy chilli beef like vinegar, another called their sweet and sour chicken vinegary and everything microwaved-tasting, and a third describes a wait after ordering that left them debating a lower rating. Long-time customers keep coming back and note the food is always fresh and tasty.

“Our fave family run Chinese take away. Feels like a well kept secret for the area. They do everything you could expect and more , very good food and prices. Quick service, pick up and cash only but there is a cash point round the corner at co-op so no problem. Personally enjoy their food more than any other Chinese I've tried. Generous portions and good quality. We have had large and small orders from them many times over last 2 years. Delicious! Thank you so much !”

“Worst chinese I've ever had. Chicken and sweetcorn soup was so thick, it was like porridge. Had to throw it away. As did I the crispy chilli beef. It was like pure vinegar. I was very disappointed.”
