“Walked in this evening as was intrigued and slightly excited by the 4.8 rating, as I walked in there was mess everywhere and a pot left with overflowing batter mix and generally wasnt very clean at all. I let this slide as this doesnt always mess with overall taste of cod and chips. As the battered cod was brought out it was very dark batter which isn't always a good sign, chips looked okay. As we got our meal home me and my wife did not eat any of the batter and just dug out the fish as it was dripping with oil. Chips were not very nice and cod was awful Won't be going back. Place is a rat trap.”
