“Nice tasty lunch, however arrived at 2.05pm chose our lunch and ordered hot drinks only to be told we would have to have our drinks in takeaway cups as they close at 3pm! I find it strange we could have a lunch served on a plate with cutlery but not a cup for our hot drinks. We even jokingly offered to wash up our our cups. The milk for the tea was brought over in a 4pt plastic bottle and the waitress waited while we poured the milk. A small jug would've been more appropriate. After we finushed our lunch we were again reminded they close at 3pm and we acknowledged she had already told us this on arrival. Overall a tasty lunch but not the most pleasant cafe experience.”

“We popped in for coffee yesterday, and I was seduced by the enormous coffee and walnut cake. What a wonderful find. The cake was outstanding (other coffee shops, take note), the coffee good and the friendly service was a joy. Highly recommended. PS. If like me, you are wildly averse to cake sharing, the slice was big enough to tolerate a moderate taste ;)”
