About The Mulberry Restaurant
The Mulberry Restaurant is a British restaurant on Brewery Terrace in Saundersfoot, set in a room with exposed brick walls and timber beams. The menu pairs Asian-inspired dishes, including Thai monk fish and Chicken Bhuna, with English Sunday roast lunches. Fresh bread rolls come to the table, and the kitchen accommodates food allergies and small menu changes. Seating areas are well spaced, and large tables at the back suit groups. Reservations are required, and dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Sea bass is the dish reviewers name most, praised by several diners, with the scallops and prawns, duck, Thai monk fish and a Chicken Bhuna also singled out. Close behind are the cardamon panacotta, homemade sorbets and fresh bread rolls, and reviewers repeatedly describe the food as delicious, exceptional and beautifully presented. The staff draw consistent praise as welcoming, friendly and attentive, with one reviewer noting they were knowledgeable about food allergies and another that a last minute party of six was warmly taken in. The atmosphere is called lovely and relaxed, and one diner mentions great beer. The recurring complaints are about pace and consistency. One family waited a long stretch for both starter and main with a young child, suspecting large parties on a busy night were the cause. A party of four found Sunday roast beef too tough to eat, the lamb lacking taste and the vegetables bland, and the manager accepted their concerns. One reviewer found the monk fish portion small. One suggests booking.

“We had a party of 4 people and ordered 4 Sunday lunches, three roast beef and one lamb. Those who had the beef found it very tough to cut and couldn't eat it, I had the lamb and although tender lacked any taste. The vegetables all lacked taste and very bland, if we blind tasting wouldn't have known what we were eating. The manager did accept our concerns.”

“Just returned from a week in Saundersfoot and went here one evening. Nice atmosphere and staff were friendly. Interesting mix of dishes available with some Asian inspired and some English ones. The meal I had was tasty and well cooked. They were accommodating walk-ins but I'd recommend booking.”

“Went there tonight and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it! We asked to be nowhere near any dogs and were suitably seated. My wife had sea bass and I had Chicken Bhuna - both of us left empty plates. For me, the Bhuna was fabulous with copious amounts of chicken. Very nice waiter, and could not have enjoyed ourselves more.”

“Mulberry Restaurant was excellent in every respect. Staff were extremely welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable regarding food allergies. Our meals were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented - the homemade sorbets were the best we've ever tasted! Mulberry has a lovely atmosphere too - we felt relaxed, not rushed like other restaurants, and the seating areas were well spaced. We would highly recommend Mulberry Restaurant to others - it's 5 star!”
