  “What a lovely place! Great portions, lush exotic food options and the friendliest staff. I’m gluten free and there were so many options, me and my partner had mix and match burgers, I had kangaroo and zebra burgers which were the best Burgers I’ve ever had as a coeliac! Gf options highlighted clearly on menu also which is fab, and a great wide selection. And the portions were generous and bellies are certainly full! we were served by Jules and Carmel who were so lovely and made sure we had the best food and time. There are great options for starters, mains and desserts. We had 2 lots of mains and deserts. The place itself was so lovely, fab decor, somewhere I’ve never been before and I loved the vibe! With the floating jellyfish lamps and hanging nets, and Australian themed teddies and props, all really captured a fab vibe! Thank you so much to Jules and Carmel and the staff at kookaba restaurant, would 100% recommend ☺️”

  “I have been coming every year here since it first opened and Chris ran it. Always great food until a few years back after he had sold it and the food and service wasn’t so good and we tried it a couple of times and decided not to go back. However recently my parents went here and said it was nice again and so we tried it this week. I am not sure if it’s been taken over again by new people as we don’t recognise any of the servers but the service was great and the food was lovely. My steak was a bit chewy but probably my fault as I like it quite rare, however taste was great and we all enjoyed the food and we will be back again! So all good and I would recommend it for great service and lovely food. Oh and those chips were like chip shop chips but thinner - different and lovely!”
