  “Me and my mate get this Chinese at least once a week for the last 5 years. Everything is just perfection. The s&p chicken chunks and S&P chips are always hot, crispy, and juicy. We don’t get how they are so consistent with the quality everytime .Best Chinese on Earth.”

  “Wow from the lady on the phone. Down to the delivery gentleman...unbelievably nice.....now the food piping hot when it arrived......and both the 2 meals and 2 starters where of the highest quality.....not got a bad word to say about this takeaway......definitely will be ordering”

  “Been using this takeaway for years but have to say last few times it’s been awful. Cheap meat and all tastes the same. Spent nearly £50 last night for it to go in the bin. Will not be using again”

  “Dropped 1 star, not sure if it's just Saturdays as busy, but a definite noticeable drop off in food quality compared to during the week. No rice or chips with your meal now and same price. Other Chinese takeaways haven't taken this approach.”

  “Can be very hit and miss, one order its amazing the next its poor and the last order really put me off, ordered prawn toast as appetizer and the smell was foul prawns were 100% off. The chips aren't great at the best of times as they're frozen but last order they were hard and seriously undercooked, I don't think I'll be going back, the prawn toast really made me feel sick the smell was horrendous, gutted as when the foods good it's really good 😔”

  “I'll not visit again. It's very average food, We ordered 2 mains, chicken and beef, a bag of prawn crackers, and paid an extra £5.00 for two portions of plain boiled rice. Just over £22.00. I wish we'd just made a sandwich when we got home. I'll drive for an extra hour to go to Newton-Le-Willows before calling again.”

  “11 years been using the Oriental. We've moves 2 addresses and still keep ordering from them. Absolutely love the food as in no disappointment through the years, good service from them. Highly recommended!”

  “this takeaway has a few comfy chairs to wait on. ghe food is great and well cooked and the staff are friendly even the chef has a smile when he brings the order through. so this is my new fave and is quite a bit cheaper than any other takeaway in at helens.”
