  “First time ordering here and I can't wait to order again. The food is fantastic (even for veggies/vegans), the staff are super friendly and portions are great too for the price. I arrived later than I planned and because of that the lady working there cooked fresh chips to ensure that they were hot for us. She didn't have to do that and I didn't ask, but what a lovely gesture. I reiterate: great food, fantastic staff and great service. Can't recommend master wok highly enough. I'd also add, having seen other reviews, that the food was not greasy at all.”

  “I often get food from here. Family run business with lovely drivers and the food is impeccable! Perfectly fresh, piping hot and extremely tasty! The best Chinese take-away in St Helens! We love to treat ourselves with food from here and it’s always been gorgeous! Give them a try! I also once got food from here for a party when I was getting married and it was excellent!”

  “Still the best Chinese in St Helens after years and years. Me and my family are regularly customers, my son on university now since we know this Chinese take away when he was born. The quality of the food is always up to standard, especially the salt and pepper dishes, noodles, starters, curry. The lovely couple are running the business and looking after the little cute boy and making great food consistently! But it is very shame that local teenagers always racism them, the local council, police, teachers can’t stop them. I think the big problem is their parents, the children post lots of fake reviews on google and Facebook to harm their business. It’s horrible and completely unreasonable!”

  “Chicken was shaped like a rat and rice tasted bad rang them up and they were being very rude because I informed them about thier mistake and they said to never order again I won’t thankfully Thank you kind woman And also my daughter was at the park next to the shop amd the man came out asking if they needed a ride home unbelievable”

  “Only ordered salt & pepper chicken, chips n curry. Absolutely no taste to any of it. Re-heated oven chips, no flavour to the chicken & the blandest curry sauce. Do not waste your money”

  “Ordered a take away from here. It came in good time and the delivery driver was sound. I’ve ordered from here before, and it was spot on. We thought we’d found our new Chinese take away. This time though, some of the food had a strange taste to it, tbh it was the salt and pepper chicken wings. I’ve had the salt and pepper ribs from here before, and they were nice, but didn’t have much salt and pepper seasoning or flavour to them, and they were chopped very small, unlike the other ribs they do there. The wings though, they weren’t good at all. They had a very strange taste to them, and didn’t taste anything at all like a salt and pepper dish. The rest of the food was pretty good again, but I was very disappointed with the salt and pepper chicken wings.”

  “The best Chinese food! Me and my family are regular customers. The owners and staff are so lovely and it really meant a lot that the owner gave me a call to check if everything was okay after I hadn’t been for a while due to being poorly - this level of customer care is a rarity these days and it meant a lot that they’d taken time out of their day to see if we were ok ❤️ The food is always super fresh, delicious and hot. Delivery has always been on time and never had any problems at all. Wait times in the shop have always been short too and the staff are always so friendly and chatty. A hidden gem in St Helens. Thank you!”

  “Absolutely love food from here, tried so many dishes and never had a bad one (which is a rarity these days from my experience with other takeaways). They accept requests eg i love special chow mein but i dont like prawns, they are only to happy to accommodate and make it without. Delivery is a bonus they are generally really fast on delivery and i know the times that it takes longer i know its because they are busy and it even waiting it still saves me going out.”
