  “Wagamamammaaaaaa What happened to you? The food is lovely, don’t get me wrong, but the overall experience could be much better. The tables were sticky, the menus were filthy — I even found a hair inside one of them. The toilets were blocked with no proper water flow, the flush button was missing, and the air filter/ventilation seemed to be gone as well. Really disappointing because the food itself was actually good”

  “This is not the first time the food is disappointing. We have been here many times and every time we hope it will be better(sometimes it has some taste). First time it was the ramen that was straight water. No taste just bland, like water in a bowl, this was just bad. And now the yaki soba chicken and prawn( had 4 counted prawns), tasted like nothing again, just bland noodles with a bit of chicken. And for anyone that says “you could’ve asked for it to be changed” or anything else, it’s not comfortable to come here and ask for the dish to go back every now and then.”

  “Went for lunch with my friend for their birthday, had such a lovely time!! Our server Georgia was so sweet and took great care of us. Food came out individually so unfortunately he had finished before I even got mine.”

  “Food came out quickly and looked great. Place was very clean considering it was really busy, so the experience felt a bit rushed and impersonal, and it took a while to get a waiter when we needed one. Still a good meal overall though, would go again at a less busy time.”

  “Was a queue during peak times, a little unideal while in freezing weather but it was quickly made up while the lovely waiters/waitresses handed us the menus and promptly got us seated. The food comes whenever it serves which is something you should consider, food is moderately expensive but it’s the price you pay for a decent meal. Overall service was brilliant, food came quick and professionally delivered/presented and was piping hot, service is brilliant, the waitresses was very polite and friendly.”

  “Wagamama at Rushden Lakes is a brilliant choice for a relaxed Japanese dining experience, and our recent Saturday night visit was an especially great experience which has made me want to visit more often. We walked in without a booking and were seated within two minutes, which was impressive considering how busy the restaurant looked. The staff were friendly from the moment we arrived. At first we were seated near the front of the restaurant where it felt a cold due to the door being opened often, but when we asked to move, they offered us a booth with no issues at all. It didn’t feel awkward and the way they handled it showed how helpful and accommodating the team are. The food itself was excellent. I ordered the grilled chicken ramen, which was flavourful, filling, and very fairly priced at £14.50. I also know the chicken katsu curry is a popular favourite and is priced the same, which makes both dishes great value. Our meals arrived in around 10 minutes which I thought was fast given the quality and freshness of the food. The restaurant has a spacious and relaxing atmosphere. Our booth was comfortable, and although some tables are shared between multiple parties, the layout still gives everyone plenty of space. The interior is modern, the vibe is calm, and the toilets were clean and well kept. I also liked that you can see your food being cooked (the kitchen is located in view of the seating area). Overall, Wagamama at Rushden Lakes delivered great food, fast service, friendly staff, and a pleasant environment. I highly recommend it and would definitely visit again.”
