Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often praise the friendly table service, with several singling out individual waitstaff as welcoming and helpful, and one saying nothing was too much trouble. The food follows close behind, described as delicious, fresh and generous in portion, with the three-course set menu and the desserts named as highlights. Two mention the app's discounted second main offer, and another used Tesco Clubcard rewards for a cheaper meal. Many visits were celebrations, including anniversaries, Valentine's Day and Mother's Day, and one diner had a fabulous meal despite expecting a busy room. An early evening visitor found it quiet with little atmosphere, and another thought the extra charge for two thin slices of bread with a starter was a bit cheeky. One reviewer who left a poor account describes a long wait for orders, a rude greeter, a 52 page allergy book and a mouldy plant on the table, and says other customers were also complaining about the wait. One reviewer advises booking. A birthday table was brought a complimentary cocktail.

“52 Pg allergy book! Mouldy plant on table. Long wait 4 order. Greeter was rude to us & other staff. 1 lady was working hard &gave good service but everything else was unacceptable. Other customers were also complaining about the long wait time for their orders. Stay home & have a pizza from the freezer. It will be better.”

“My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary (2nd year in a row) and were happy as always. We were served by Gosia who was so friendly and helpful! 😊 Lovely food and especially dessert x”

“Gosia, what a superstar! A young man also seated us and took our order, also brilliant (sorry didn'tget your name)! The passion and energy they put into their work really made the experience. So friendly, inviting and helpful. Hands down the best service we have received in a restaurant for a long time. This was our first visit as a birthday treat for my Husband. The food was delicious and the portions are really generous. I downloaded the app and took advantage of the 2nd main for £1 offer, excellent value. We will definitely be back.”

“Took advantage of the current offer: £1 for a Main when bought with a Main, amazing value. Meals were delicious and well presented. Mia was a fantastic host, gave a lovely welcome and was friendly and the right level of attentiveness throughout. It was an early evening visit, so not much atmosphere as was quiet at that time. Recommend!”

“Lovely meal all 3 courses were exceptional as usual from Zizi and the waitress Emily was great. Only quibble was £2 for 2 thin slices of bread with the starter was a bit cheeky… We used Tesco Clubcard rewards which got us a £99 voucher for £33 🤘”
